One of the things I love most about Will & Grace is its relevance. It embodies close ties, heartache, social issues, life and its struggles, and the vices and virtues that make us human. Some people won't agree, but just like a few other honorable mentions (The Magicians, Roseanne, etc, it helps us relate and realize that we're not alone in our struggles, and that humor and love can help us through the toughest of times.

Appropos of nothing, I recently saw Sandra Bernhard live and she has no business criticizing anyones singing voice, even in character. If I remember the set list correctly, Debbie Harry, Patty Smythe, and Dua Lipa should send cease-and-desists. And shes almost as good a storyteller as she is a singer. Nobody is a bigger Sandra Bernhard fan than Sandra Bernhard.
