The relationship between Audrey Hepburn and Hubert de Givenchy is certainly a special one. Once they met on the set of Sabrina, the two became inseparable. The fact that she didn't try is the best part about her, girls do crazy things to look beautiful, get completely obsessed with their looks. While the most beautiful girl ever liked to go shopping with polo and jeans. She was a fashion icon because every cloth looked perfect on her, the dresses didn't matter, Audrey Hepburn did. Any girl can look good on an expensive dress, but only Audrey could make any dress look like last trend, so when she found someone like Givenchy that only needed a good model to really become huge, it was a match made in heaven. That said if I was obscenely rich I would definitely track and buy Holly's dress (the last buyer paid $807. 000) just so I could display it, going full circle and putting it on my will that when I died the dress was to be auctioned and all the money reverted to children in need, so Audrey would one more time be news in the whole world for helping children. I'm sure this would make really happy, since dresses meant nothing, but helping people did to her.

She was an elegant, stylish, lovely brunette actress. As someone with brunette hair, I admire her beauty and fashion. But it is true that the portrait of Japanese man in the Breakfast at Tiffany's was very unfortunate and full of racism. To call someone 'Yellow Skinned is extremely rude and disgusting.
Nowadays we have a lot of fair skinned Asian girls but at the same time darker skin tone can be beautiful, too. What is important is the heart and the person's manners. Sometimes we discover girls in places that are not Europe or America who are more beautiful than Audrey Hepburn. Stop the Racism and fight Injustice.

I think your facts are wrong. Ms. Hepburn was only married two times. She and Robert Wolders lived together for many years until her death, but they were never married. Her first husband was the actor Mel Ferrer and her second husband was Andrea Dotti who was an Italian doctor or psychiatrist. I can't remember which. Please check your facts before presenting these videos.

Its worth pointing out that in the middle 1950s Audrey did some real-life modeling for at least one major American fashion magazine. And it wasnt just because she was a movie star; she had not only the looks but the ability to move and pose like an expert professional model. Her performance as a model in Funny Face demonstrates this expertise abundantly.

As we are nearing thirty years of her passing, Audrey Hepburn still reigns supreme in my book. One of our legendary actresses and a trendsetter, Audrey personified beauty, grace, and fortitude. As I have felt emptiness when hearing about her passing in 1993, I am happy to recall memories of her to make me smile and hope to see her in heaven.

Im honestly so sad they didnt mention the dress Audrey wore to the Horse Race in My Fair Lady or the dress she wore to the Gala in the movie. Dont get me wrong, these other looks are stunning and iconic as well, Im just sad they didnt even give them an honorable mention so sad, theyre so iconic too

Thank you so much. I heard about Audrey as a young boy, and never took interest back in the early 70s except for the tough male actors. and horror movies sort of thing. Now I am overwhelmed by her natural talent, looks, style, etc, wow what a star she was!

No question in my mind, the Breakfast At Tiffany's dress is definitely the most iconic dress in the history of cinema. Then again, Audrey Hepburn could wear overalls and a baggy t shirt and she'd still be the classiest, most elegant creature on the planet.

Givenchy designed the three iconic looks from Sabrina. Edith Head and her team manufactured several copies and modified that beautiful gown. Head took sole credit and upon winning the Oscar, purposely avoided delivering an acceptance speech - sad.

The video is good, but in breacfast at Tiffany's it is not little black dress, it is grand soir dress. Littke black dress was made by Coco CHANEL in 1920's and it is a little below the knee.

Can't believe they didn't talk more about How to steal a million, they literally reference givenchy in that movie and some of those pieces like the white dress suit are iconic
reply

I Would believe Mr. Givenchy over Ms. Edith Head. There were many Hollywood stories about Edith Head that let me to believe that Mr. Givenchy designed that famous black dress.

Audrey Hepburn (Edda) and Anne Frank were both in Holland during the Nazi occupation of WW2. Both lived near each other without meeting each other. Both were born in 1929.

There is nothing little about the black dress worn in breafast at Tiffany's. It is a wrong example of what is the LBD. The first one from sabrina is more of a LBD.

Love the list; I think I would have had to put the My Fair Lady dresses in there too! So tough to choose - she could have worn a sack and looked breath-taking.

This commentary is like a cat scratching a blackboard, demanding to be heard. Stop talking and let the quality of the actress speak for itself

I spent years with the goal of assisting women to dress with style. How could one not design exceptional frocks for Hepburn?

Iconic and stunning respectable dress compare to most actresses nowadays with too much makeup and expose dress

Some of the most gorgeous costumes Hepburn wore in, My Fair Lady weren't included, which was disappointing.
