I don't really follow all make up trends since I started wear make up. I really like to use what I like. Like when every beauty gurus are crazy about full coverage foundation concealer, crazy contour, crazy highliting on every where their face and body, crazy eyebrow, etc. I prefer to use minimum amount for base with no contouring and higlighting (because I prefer to show my natural face) and minimum eyebrow to make more natural

Call me a SJW call me what you want but I will say this. The one thing make-up brands need to start doing is being more inclusive and putting more effort and money into making their cosmetics more available for everybody from the lighter skin tones to the darker skin tones. This won't just benefit the customers but also benefit the company and will bring in more money. It will be a complete win-win for both sides.

Labeling Inclusivity as a Trend is a huge FAIL. Different skin colors have always existed, different make up for that has always existed, the industry just finally realized to create wider palettes with more color choices. Thats not a trend, thats just the industry adjusting to the demand.

I feel like inclusivity shouldn't be a trend When it comes to foundations or concealers or anything makeup. We need colors that are lightest of the light. Darkest of the dark. And ALL undertones.

Most beauty companies focused on brighter skin! You serious? I'd spent years in finding a normal non-goth-white foundation to match my light skin tone!

It's weird to label inclusivity as a trend. A trend is something that stays relevant for a specific amount of time. Inclusive brands are here to stay

RECENTLY it's been noticed that brands aren't inclusive
Nah, we've noticed the whole time. Don't say recently just because Rihanna made YOU notice.

sure inclusivity. but ffs darker skinned ppl don't need as much coverage. you can't see redness or pimples on black skin. it's as simple as that

So beauty community would choose ultra violet a colour that totally excludes south asian people as it makes them look muddy and sloppy.
