I think for me the writers made it happen so I don't wanted too blame every detail off each season and I kind agree with this anyways but Ross and Rachel is a great couple in history s the way that Emily is treating Ross not too see Rachel anymore and he thinks he agrees with her and i hated the way because he dated her and I think it's disrespectful thing too do ross should I done is standing up for Rachel not the way what Emily think of her and stop being friends with her and stop seeing. Joey Chandler and Monica and pheobie that is a worst case scenario and I believe what Joey think off Emily was she is unreasonable and shared it with Ross and now he yells at him and standing up for Emily I hated that he should not stand up for Emily he should have been standing up for Rachel not Emily Rachel is not doing anything to hurt ross I mean m yes he said her name he is still in love with Rachel and he doesn't want Rachel knew that. This break up its not Rachel fault and Ross i blame the writers for that

I blame all the writers of the show for any heated debate there was could've been or still might be over we were on a break! Because back then and now there's no such thing as just being on a break I mean it's automatically to be assumed that if a relationship gets to that point then the relationship is pretty much done and if for whatever reason you should in the future get back together then great but that aside there is no break the relationship is over there was a time when temporary breaks did exist but I'm sure that ended in the 1980s but during friends and now breaks don't exist

Season 3 episode we were on a break, that Ross never slept with Chloe he was drunk, Chloe took him and pass out on the couch. Chloe told him to break up with Rachel. Their relationship is doomed. Ross explained to Rachel that theyre relationship is doom. Nothing happened between him and Chloe. But they realize they went different directions. Rachel is upset at first but he was right. Ross did almost marry Emily, Emily called off the wedding because she was in love with someone else. Ross would let go of Rachel and go to Paris.

You guys, I just finished Friends for the first time in my life and I don't know what to think about the end. I mean, Rachel's career was one of her biggest dreams and she worked hard to achieve that high position with LV. I really thought she was getting on that plane and starting a brand new life in Paris. I know she loved Ross but also knew he was abusive and controlling and as a viewer, I think she loved him not in a partner way but in a very special friend way. you know, love of her life but not in a romantic way?

The Issue was Rachel saying she needs a break from them and telling Ross to leave without telling him what it meant. Ross went out depressed and heard Mark was with Rachel (Who was trying to sleep with her as he admits in his final appearance.
Ross got drunk with a hot girl because he thought Rachel was in bed with Mark.
What Ross did wrong. Go around town for a few days and hide any evidence instead of telling Rachel what he thought happened and why he did it immediatly.

Honestly a break is so not a break up a break means you are still together and still love each other just not hang out for a week maybe to give each a chance to relax away from each other and clear your head from all the fights wbut after a short while they can see each other and have a respectful calm conversation to resolve thing and if they cant then they break up and end the relationship and even so its really rude to sleep with the next women right after the breakup

If Ross and Rachel stayed together for the entire show, Rachel would never have a crush on that customer and Emily and Rachel would go to that theater which means Ross and would never meet Emily and they would never have a wedding and Monica wouldn't feel depressed when someone thought she was Ross's mom and Chandler and Monica would never get together.
So if Ross and Rachel didn't break up then there would be no such thing as Chandlica.

honestly i get that ross and rachel were on and off and their relationship was very toxic at times but lets be real their love story is very adorable and kinda unique ngl. just all bad things aside, they had so many moments, they got married drunk, they had a baby, there were times when we knew they felt something about each other. so honestly people say there relationship was horrible cmon i think its actually meant to be they are destined for each other

V couple, if this happened in real life a woman could easily find out he is a toxic boyfriend and it will be impossible for her to progress as a fashion designer and rather end up being a house wife. I was never for Ross and Rachel. Rachel could never decide if she wanted to be with Ross or not. But every time he was with another woman, she would go out of her way to sabotage the relationship, thus plunging him into a pit of despair. We all knew it was gonna happen eventually, but I personally think they were not right for each other because they progressively dragged each other down.

I wish Ross had stayed with Emily, and her being pregnant in real life he could have had a baby with her in the show anyways, then Rachel and Joey would have ended up together they could have progressed them earlier on, and they would have been end game! The last time that think those had real feelings for each other after Ross and Emily wending even than Ross was actually trying to make more with more with Emily than Rachel, and i think they almost never had real feelings for each other, i don't like how writers constantly pushing to something happened between them nothing actually happened unitil the end.

Had Friends been filmed today I like to think that Rachel would have stayed on the plane and when Emma was old enough she would have joined her mother in Paris. In the intervening years she would have formed a strong bond with her cousins Jack and Erika and at some point Ross & Susan would have introduced her to her half brother Ben.

We were on a break! Both of them were at fault here! It takes 2 to work at relationships. It's why it's called a couple not a single. They both had done bad moves that led to the relationship demise! But it seems as if they really weren't meant for each other. Kind of like a fantasy couple unlike Monica and Chandler.

I think that Rachel getting off the plane could be justified on modern television. If she had moved to Paris she would be denying Emma a relationship with her father which could lead to friction between the two of them. But I do think Ross and Rachel were a bad couple

my problem with the whole 'we were on a break thing' is that he didn't mind going to sleep with another woman a few hours after he thought they had broken up but he got mad and jealous when rachel went on a date a few weeks after they had officially broken up

Can I just say that I hated when Rachel decided that she wanted Ross once he was in a happy relationship and basically asked him to choose between her and the other girl. I mean she did it with Julie and the bald girl and she almost did it with Emily.

I personally felt friends was bit regressive. Moreover I felt Tag was more suitable for Rachel or maybe Rachel deserved her career in louis vuitton. I never liked Ross Rachel as pair. Ross Phoebe made more sense

I totally agree Maybe Rachel and Ross should never be together at all but both are terrible with each other! Maybe Rachel shouldnt never getting off plane and Ross rather be with another woman instead or be single.

Its really hard to say if Ross and Rachel were meant to be because well we know they are quite similar underneath but there are aspects of their personalities that have to change for them to be more compatible
