To be considered as underrated, it should've never get the attention it deserved. Don't Tell me was a huge hit when it was released. I remember Jimmy Fallon and Kirsten Dunst performed it at the MTV Movie Awards because the video was sooo popular. Keep It Together was also a huge hit which peaked at no. 8 in Billboard. Secret peaked at no. 2 if I'm not mistaken. Never ever touch a Madonna subject without further research, because we, the fans, are very meticulous about our Queen; )

Of course these lists are just for fun and entertainment, but this one seems really slapdash. Several of these tracks are not only well-liked by music critics and fans alike, but were also hit singles (as Mojo points out. So they're highly rated in some respect. but also underrated? Again, no biggie -- but it does come off as a somewhat lazy effort with no attempt to dig deeper into a rich catalogue. Just sayin'.

Why is Secret here? Was #03 in US and #05 in UK, It was also TOP 3 in many other countries including France. The song even hit #01 in Canada, Switzerland and Filand. The same can be said of both Erotica and Don't Tell Me that were also TOP 5 hits in almost all worldwide countries. The Power of Goodbye was #11 in US but peaked #02 on Eurochart Hot 100 for multiple weeks.

While I agree with this list, Im surprised they left off two of her best songs which are severely underrated: Ghosttown and Youll See.
These are Beautiful songs with powerful lyrics which didnt get the hype they deserve. They shouldve at least gotten honorable mention.

If I remember correctly the 1989 album Like A Prayer was recorded before Madonna and Sean Penn split and so Keep It Together wasn't written after they split, but obviously I could be wrong.
