Have you ever watched the show? Netflix's Insatiable is a gem. Fat people get bullied and showing that is somehow wrong? I saw the clip about Patty talking to a transwoman and it was one of the show's best moments. TV also offers logic and realism. Realizing your LGBTQ or even accepting it is hard and people do get bullied for being Fat, it's real and they did a good job of showing it. And what is wrong about joking about dark stuff? That's how the show is, it's trashy but they are not ashamed on it, they add some really wacky stuff while still maintaining the tone about eating disorders. It's ridiculous that this show got canceled for showing realistic stuff. And the truth is, fat people shouldn't be glorified. Obesity is a health problem and if they continue being like that, they're gonna die.

The only part I found unrealistic is that the kids in school would be unlikely to suddenly accept Patty just because she got thin. No matter how beautiful she became, they would very likely never really see her as she is now, but only as she was. I know this because I was a chubby kid with bad skin and thick glasses. I got thin, my skin cleared up, wore contacts and was suddenly very pretty, but only by people who didn't know me before I changed. To the kids who knew me before, I was still the same ugly kid in their eyes and they still treated me that way.

here's the thing, how were they ever gonna do flashbacks of her being overweight without the suit? what, were they supposed to have those flashback scenes with her being skinny? also about the whole fat shame thing, that's a part of the world! how tf were they gonna make a show about a teen who dealed with fat shaming and being insecure about her body if they didn't put it in the show? these are real world problems, life is NOT perfect, and so people who struggle with these insecurities can relate

Spoiler Alert - Everything about this show is amazing except that she kills 7 people! I know insatiable is not her hunger for food but revenge, but I wish it was highlighted that she wasn't a victim but the other way around. Everything was perfectly executed, even every character's imperfections, but justifications from fans for the character's behaviour doesn't do justice. Patty is supposed to be unlikeable (Character wise. she's sociopath with psychopathic and borderline tendencies.

This show literally was teaching others about what it's like to live around others at a young age while not exactly fitting in. This show was basically reality for many youth and it honestly should have got a good ending. This show, well, was for 18+ basically, so who cares about the amount of inappropriate content in this show? It was a Netflix show with a great story line, and it even shows LGBTQ+ which we don't get in every show. I loved Insatiable, it needs a season 3.

I think the people that don't like the show just shouldn't watch it. it should have been renewed for many more seasons but because you got these weird people that sit on the internet in their basements in somewhere in the middle of the country who are probably screwed up writing comments about how they don't like this type of show, that's the people that are ruining good shows. So does that mean wearing face paint, giants shoes with a red wig dehumanize clowns? Does latex used on actors with hair to simulate baldness dehumanize bald people? Do women with breast implants dehumanize women who have smaller breast? Do superhero costumes dehumanize and fat shame the average person who wouldn't be able to hit into them because they lack the physique to do so? Absurd.

Yep nonsense, the show is good depending if you like dark comedy. As for the fat shaming if you into fat acceptance nonsense sure but the show shows that eating disorder is not only food problem. This review literally uses words taken out of context. I think any person that went to school understands that Bob said almost as bad as doing it as in they believe the accusation. I'm someone who used to be fat and got slim. In no way do I feel like it's fat shaming. I can totally relate to this show. If Patty's life somehow got better after becoming skinny then maybe it'd be a problem but her life became even worse after becoming skinny. It just shows that it doesn't matter what your body size is, it matters what's inside

I think the concept of the show is great, a fat girl becoming skinny and starting to win beauty contests, it was fun, but when the killing started it was so dumb, it was unwatchable, this so called demon can ruin every show with that romcom premise, it doesnt make any sense, and bob relationship with the other bob made me puke so many times

I don't think this nattator got this. This show is so funny, touching, hopeful. Yes there was some dark humour but I don't think there is anything nasty about it all all. Best thing I've watched since Better Call Saul. Can't wait for season 3 and I am just reaching the end of season one. Sooooo good.

Sorry, if youve never struggled with eating disorders, coming out and/or body image struggles. You LITERALLY have no say in whether the show is problematic. This was one of the most relatable things Ive ever watched because I struggle through all of those things. Stop trying to be different. BYE

I think this show was created for exposing how the real world( fat shaming, eating desorder issues, family issues, . This show helped me to realize how all this issues are real in real life (ex: I didn't know that much about ed. So i don't know why they canceled it.

To me the most impactful scene is when Patty goes home after a crappy night and eats a huge cake on her own. There is no music, she stops talking and you are left watching and listening to her cry/sob and eat, and then into the end credits. Always gets me.
