My top 9 Toy Story sad scenes are these
9. Toy Story 4's ending, where Woody and Buzz say To infinity and beyond
8. Buzz falling into complete depression when he realizes he's just a toy and not a real space ranger
7. When she loved me
6. Woody getting disappointed at his friends for wanting to stay in Sunnyside in Toy Story 3
5. When the toys ditch Woody cuz they thought Woody hurt Buzz when he showed Buzz's broken arm
4. When Woody decides to leave Buzz and his friends just to go to the museum in Toy Story 2
3. Andy doesn't play with his toys anymore since he's a grownup. Even though he DID play with them for the last time in the ending of Toy Story 3
2. The furnace scene
1. Ending of Toy Story 3

Andy says that Woody will never give up on you. if only he knew that his words were more than true:
- Woody didnt give up when the other toys accused him of murdering Buzz
- Woody didnt give up when Sid was about to blow Buzz up
- Woody didnt give up when the rest of the gang threw him out of the van
- Woody didnt give up on Andy
- Woody didnt give up when he realised his friends were stuck in Sunnyside
- Woody didnt give up when Forky ran away
- Woody didnt give up when Forky was stuck in the antique store
- Woody didnt give up when Gabby Gabby was rejected by the child she wanted to be owned by
All of these prove how loyal Woody is!

I knew Andy playing with his toys one last time alongside Bonnie (the ending scene of the third film) would be the number one spot because that scene makes me bawl like a baby EVERY TIME! The ending of the fourth film made me cry too, but not as hard. I could understand Andys situation perfectly because I too donated some of my most precious toys that I completely refused to get rid off over the years because of either the special memories I had with them or the special places they came from (souvenir toys. Giving away your toys is like getting rid of your memories but at the same time youre happy that someone else will be making new memories with them.

The saddest scenes for me are
. Jessie no longer Emily toy
. Andy saying goodbye to his toys and drive towards his college
. Woody says goodbye towards his friends and finally staying with his true love (which he haven't seen in years)
. And number one is Woody saying goodbye to Bo Peep. That hit me the hardest because bo Peep my favorite and I loved her and Woody together and he tried to make Bo come back to him but she refused and he watches hopeless when he watched bo driving away from her new owner car, heartbroken. The rain scene made it so sad.

Toy Story 2 is my most favorite movie out of the Franchise. Jessie is my favorite character from the movie, and I can relate to her and her song, When She Loved Me.
When I heard the song for the first time, I didn't understand because I was so young, but then I heard it again, and I cried so hard. I had a fear of abandonment by my own mother, and I thought I couldn't live without her.
But, then I learned that she was a bad person, and I let her go. She's not here for me, but my step-mom is.

Wheres the scene from TS2 when Buzz and the toys finally reach Woody in Als apartment yet Woody decides to go with the roundup gang to Japan? I know he later changes his mind, but still that scene was really powerful, especially Buzzs quote: Somewhere in that pad of stuffing is a toy who taught me that lifes only worth living if youre being loved by a kid. and I traveled all this way to rescue that toy, because I believed him.

I remember watching toy story 4 and being confused at the ending. Woody wanted to stay at the carnival leaving his friends with Bonnie but in toy story 3 he left to be with his friends. Not to mention, I wasnt thinking it was so sad when Andy gave woody away to Bonnie as she promised to keep him safe but after all not so much. Still making me mad til this day after 3 years (and 10 years for Andys goodbye)
reply

Im hoping a part 5 that everyone else accidentally see each other again like a reunion. And andy is accidentally there and andys have a family and a kid. That adopt them all again. While bonnie is getting on her teenage years and wanting to discard them again im hoping they are all coming back with Andy son. This is very sad i cant take it there should be happy ending.
reply

Andy will come and visit Bonnie to see his toys and he will say to Bonnie where is Woody, if you remember back on Toy Story 3 he said will you take good care of him and then she said yes. Andy is going to feel very upset. I like the other Bonnie Anderson who loved all of her toys not that Bonnie Anderson who didnt play with Woody.
reply

I mean, toy story means a promise is always not a promise, as you can see Bonnie breaks the promise the she would take care of woody instead resulting to woody being a toy not being picked, whereas his original owner entrusted her with woody, perhaps woody should have been taken by Andy
reply

Man I remember being 10 years old when toy story 3 came out I cried at the end and I saw my mom shed some tears too but toy story 4 ending hit different when buzz told him to follow his inner voice thats when I knew that is was truly the end
reply

The ending in Toy Story 3 was pretty hard and made me cry a little but 4 I couldn't even get over it I literally yelled NO DON'T GO WOODY! (CRYING NON STOP) THIS IS ALL BONNIE'S FAULT I KNEW ANDY SHOULD'VE TAKEN ALL THE TOYS TO COLLEGE
reply

Let's be honest, Toy Story 4 was emotional for everyone, cuz we all though the series ended. But to suddenly watch a childhood continuation with the same old songs and lessons was like a blast in the past
reply

Totally agree about Number 1. The ending of Toy Story 3. It makes me cry every time. The moment when Andy says Thanks Guys and when Woody says So long partner, I lose it. I cry so much.
reply

A touching fun fact: Disney didn't change voice actors for Andy in Toy Story 3; 17-year-old Andy is voiced by the same kid who voiced him in the first two movies, all grown up
reply

I am having hard time to choose between when she loved me and the ending of toy story 3
luckily, they were #2 and #1
yeah this 2 can make u cry even though you're adult now

reply

I think the final goodbye of toy story 4 and andy giving his toys to Bonnie are the saddest moments of toy story franchise I almost cried of the final goodbye
reply

Gaby's speech to Woody in order for him to give away his sounding box it's one of them, actually Gaby got two or three othere sad moments in the fourht installment.
reply

6: 32
(Adding more to the narration) But eventually, the efforts to fly finally pays off when Buzz and Woody use Sid's rocket by the end of the film.

reply

8: 17 Rex: Does this does this mean Woodys is a lost toy?
Buzz Lightyear: Hes not lost, not anymore. To Infinity.
Sheriff Woody: .And Beyond.

Good pick nearly had me crying again. The end of Toy Story 3 had me in floods of tears. When she loved me was hard-hitting too, lump in my throat.
reply

the incinerator scene will always be the saddest part of all the movies to me! they all accepted their fate and were going to face it as a family
reply

Why isn't no one talking about how woody and the gang almost died in Toy Story 3? They all held hands and quietly accepted their deaths. It was so sad.
reply

God damn it this whole list makes me cry everytime I watch their respective movies. The toy story series really tugs my heart strings every single time
reply

Somehow Toy Story makes me feel guilty about all the toys I ended up donating to GoodWill or selling at garage sales once I outgrew them!
reply

Awww when woody gives up his voice box and says good bye to Bo Peep in toy story 4 gets to me! Also Jessie's backstory gets to me too
reply

Whenever I watch the movies I wonder how if are toys were real how sad they would be when we passed them on just like in Toy Story
reply

overall i think toy story 4 was a good movie, i just wasn't a big fan of the ending because i feel like woody wouldn't leave his kid
reply

Who wanted Woody to come back home to Bonnie, its more like Bonnie doesnt like Woody anymore and shes forgotten about Woody.
reply

I think it would've been better if they just put the scenes instead of explaining it. I'm here to cry not study
