I think samantha stole the show with her progressive feminist ways! Brava! But, i do think you missed a big one. When Samantha meets Maria, she is defending carrie regarding big, and thats why Maria falls for samantha, because shes a loving defending friend to carrie. I think it was at carries birthday party at a restaurant.

I never truly realised how much Samantha's character bought to the show. The fact the show is one extreme to the other (Charlotte to Samantha. Without the other extreme (which is equally hilarious) the show doesn't work. Fact!

The only thing that goes unnoticed is that Samantha hooked up with carrie ex fling from a taxi ride to his house but I think because Carrie wanted to get rid of him so badly she placed it towards the back of her mind.
