That show proved to me that I was right to avoid a man who is working in a Wholefoods next my house; whenever I went shopping there, he was chasing me, e. g. running towards the checkout when he observed that I was going to pay; always looked out to never pay with credit card, so he cannot come to know my name; for over two years I just ran away from him, but I'm not shopping there anymore because he became more aggressive over time; it's quite unpractical to me because I have to shop somewhere quite far from my house now, but obvously I don't want to be stalked.

Why? Why keep on watching movies or series that make everything to make you empathize with the stalker?
I get it, the show it's interesting but it makes people think and confuse obsession with love, because even if it's extremely obvious that he doesn't love her as much as he says because (SPOILER ALERT) he kills Beck at the end, and well you don't kill someone you love, I'm not sure everybody will get that he is the bad guy and that you should think otherwise even if the directors made everything possible to make you empathize with him

I binged the show and liked it. So I read the book and loved it! Joe is so sarcastic and dirty minded. I laughed out loud a lot.
Then the second book Hidden bodies, why? There was no need to add to the story. It didnt add anything, I didnt like that book at all. I hope the show does a better job. Or I would actually have loved it to end after one season, the moment when at the end when a new girl walks in and he does exactly the same as in the first episode, so cool! Should have ended there and no second season.

I'll be honest. I was rooting for Joe throughout the show. I know that he's a stalker and that he's done bad things. But guess what? It's a show meaning it's fictional. If I want to root for the bad guy in a fictional story. I can. As long as as I'm aware that this sort of behavior is unacceptable in real life, let me root for whoever I want to root for. Thank you.

Eh, Beck never developed as a character. dad background attempt failed. like what, your dad was a crackhead and now he's a rich christian? isn't that a good thing? only time she showed Development was when joe was with karen. or the ending. other than that she was just being moved by the world around her. i watched it for my gf and i needed to vent.

People liked this show now when it is on Netflix. bruh I saw it when it was on Lifetime when no one knew about or cared about it. I never was into a show that can actually be a popular Netflix show since I never binge watched anything on Netflix but now it seems I am a part of the trend of following Netflix shows.

The best reason to watch this show: it's great! I loved it. Great screenplay (amazing I would say, incredible actors, and a mix of love/comedian drama/horror story that will get to you no matter what. I just can say you have to see it. You won't regret.

Im almost a year late I just finished watching the show You and Season 2 is wayy better than Season 1. I hated Beck. She was so boring, bland, and whiny. There was nothing interesting about her character. Love was a much more interesting character.

I started to watch just because Shay Mitchell is in it. I got really into it but around episode 6 I stop watching cause of what happened and then when I found out what happened in the last episode I just lost it.

This show was absolutely amazing. The story was interesting, the characters were great, even the acting was absolutely fantastic! The ending was such a twist! Absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend

The lifetime trailers for this show are amazing. I remember watching them about a year ago and then watching it when it came out on lifetime. But unlike everyone else I had to wait a week for each episode

I'm a MR and I really like YOU.

Although. YOU have questionable taste on friends.
I'm going to help YOU get the life YOU deserve!

Damn. I really got into that.

And now it is renewed for the third season! Seriously i cant wait for the third season so i can binge through it, idc if this show gets 10 seasons, one of my favourite shows on Netflix!

I think his psyche is damaged because of the book owner locking him in there and because of his rotten ex-gf Candice
So maybe he has a skewed look on life and how love works!

The creepiest thing is that even as the protagonist does horrible, disgusting things we would still want to be on his side. The monologue perfectly captures the feel of reading a book.

A guy in love with a girl who takes it to far to get her to live him! Thats basically the whole show its pretty good tho and creepy asf but yall will like it.
reply

The only thing that I didn't like was the final few seconds of the last episode, it would have been better if it ended at hello there, who are you just like the book
reply

This show is soo creepy especially the main character but something about it made me want to continue watching it lol strange but interesting at the same time
reply

Just watched it, but kinda like Joe in initial episodes but as soon as I realised that he had felt same thing before for another girl makes me hate himmm
reply

Unpopular Opinion: I love Joe more then the characters he killed. And it was satisfying when Beck died.
I know. I'm going the asylum now

reply

Very well done show and it raises an important point: Just because you're not innocent doesn't mean you're not the victim (Beck.

It's a dumb show I couldn't continue watching I stopped at episode 3. I think it's just a cheap copy of Dexter & The Fall.
reply

If u like stalkers and people who would even kill to get next to the man or woman of your dreams. This is the perfect show for u
reply

This show was very addicting, always excited to know what's about to happen on the next episode. Can't wait for Season 2!
reply

After this show there's is either going to be a lot less girls in my local book store or a ton with a Joe-fetish.
reply

There are no reasons not to watch it! Its the most spellbinding tv show I ever watched! There isn't any boring second!
reply

Watched the show in 2 days and then read the book in 5 Im about to start hidden bodies. Im OBSESSED pun intended
reply

I didn't feel a single bit of sadness or remorse for Beck in the end. She was such a victim and was so annoying.
