Her manager was such a prick to Jackson. HE was one of main reason Jackson killed himself. As much as I hated him, it was so fitting. No drink? No socks LOL touche! BUT in final scene as Jackson gives Charlie his steak, closes the patio door so Charlie could not get out, we fast forward to a very depressed, intoxicated Jackson about to take his life. That slamming of the garage door left me with tears and a gasp. BUT realistically did producers want to knock the intelligence of the viewers minds this badly? How the hell was Charlie sitting outside the garage door mourning for his daddy when Jackson had closed and shut tight the door. Someone else have an opinion on this, such a fabulous movie and this small scene really blew me off.

I enjoyed this film, but am not obsessed with it like many others. Those Lady Gaga fans will consider it the best theyve seen. Keep in mind that LG was merely playing herself in many ways. Just because the music was great does not make a film brilliant.
Like I said, I enjoyed this film but did not consider it a major contender to win for an Oscar for best film. I do think its a shame Bradley Cooper was politically overlooked in many categories. Would Hollywood grant someone an Oscar for his first time at directing - and overlook long time established directors.

Loved Gaga's version finale with the song that Cooper could never sing, but Streisand's version was far better. She not only sang the song that Kristofferson composed and could not record, she also sang his biggest hit. And to a much, much bigger audience, which lit cigarrette lighters to honor Kristofferson. Gaga's concert seemed to be for a small number of people.

To think that it could have been Clint Eastwood starring as Jack, and Directing Beyonce as Ally! It just wouldn't resonate the same, as I think that Gaga playing Ally in this Movie was the right casting choice, not to mention the age difference between them in a Love Story Movie would have been really creepy!

This movie should have won every single Oscar it was nominated for, it's so underrated besides the other nominees. It is by far the best movie of 2018 it has so much deep messages, so much detail in it you'll only see after watching it a second time. It tells so much with its scenes

knowing the ending, i still haven't had the courage to see it. i saw the original and this one just ends so tragically.
HOWEVER, i CANNOT GET ENOUGH of these two. they are magical and I wish they would just give in and get together. it would be the perfect love story ever.

I enjoyed this movie tremendously. This cast. OMG. drew me in to their story. And since movies are about telling a story. Oscars all around. Cooper, Elliott, Stefani Germinatto, and best song. no brainier Oscars.
