There is no reason that Jacob should be on the list. After Bella literally told him that if she had to choose between him and Edward, she would choose Edward. Then added that she would ALWAYS choose Edward. The movie after that he says that she really is into him she just doesnt want to admit it. Bella defends herself saying that she really isnt interested and that she loves Edward. Then Jacob kissed her even though she told him she didnt like him. Thank god she punched him in the face. Then the movie after that he still wont move on when shes so clearly not into him.

jacob assaults bella in both the book and movie, he kisses her against her will and she breaks her hand trying to get him off her, sure hes not that bad and also it wasnt even remotely mutual, jacob is at best settling for bella, not even remotely an equal contender.
Laura Jean is one of the few protagonists that's just an overall good person with great traits. that being said, she did treat Josh really badly, he just wanted to be there for her and she panicked and shut him out. I adored josh as a person even if they didn't belong together

surely Rick Blaine should have been Number 1 (and then some) - for a start, he's damn near the only character here whose name is generally remembered; also, many take him to be 'the guy' not the 'other guy'.

Id like to comment on the Bella-Edward-Jacob triangle. If Bella had chosen Jacob, I think her life wouldve been way less dangerous. The wolves in Jakes pack would be forbidden from harming her, no counsel of wolves criticizing the relationship, and no need worrying about her getting older. Wolves live pretty long lives in the Twilight universe.

People always accuse Edward of being controlling, but I think Jacob was worse. Jacob threw a giant temper tantrum when she went back to Edward, whereas Edward intentionally drove her to hangout sessions with Jacob and never tried to keep her from being his friend. He didn't understand it, but he was happy she had a friend.

Rick Blaine is not The other Guy, he's the main caracter of the movie, yes he doesn't end up with Isla but she loved him more than anything and the whole movie was around their love story. He made the sacrifice to let her go for the sake of other people.

Just my personal opinion. While Gale and Katniss cared about eachother so much he has to much anger for Katniss, who has enough anger herself, and after everything she needs someone like Peeta, who will love her and be there to calm her down.

Katniss didnt pick Gale just because she liked Peeta more. She disowned him after discovering that he was in on the plan to bomb the children of the capitol that killed her sister and did not tell her about it.
