Only Elena see the good in damon heart and he his selfish around her. I remember watching them together in season6 episode22 when damon is willing to give up his vampire life and start a new human life with Elena. That is the best moment that i seen in the vampire diaries.

Tbh for me all the scenes in which they are together is the best because even if they're just arguing or fighting or whatever it's as good as the romantic scenes idk why I feel that! Their chemistry just takes over everything it's damn good! Best TV couple ever period

I think the Frat Halloween party dance was so hot, Elena just turned and she was having the time of her life with Damon feeding on people all while they danced to Feel so close to you right nowand then Bonnie C blocked the whole thing
