Honestly, I dont like Snape redemption arc at all.
He was a piece of shit to Harry his whole life. His treatment of Harry is the main reason Sirius gets killed and Dumbledore himself admits that. Snape wasnt very interested in teaching him Occlumency as he wasnt in teaching him Potions. Harry wasnt doing well at the classes, Snape doesnt inform Dumbledore and dont change his ways.
So, Sirius gets killed and Harry loses his second father because of Snape. Then he finds redemption because he loved Lily and supposedly protected Harry. Really? How did he protect Harry when he didnt teach him the way to stop Voldemort to enter his mind? Sirius is the one who dies, but that couldve been Harry or anyone in the Order. He was so worried about Harry, that people got at risk because Snape was terrible to him. So yeah, I dont fall for that.

Alastair Moody being actually Crouch Jr is a great plot twist and even better in the book, because theres background story.
Sirius tells Harry, Ron and Hermione about the rise and fall of Barry Crouch Sr in the Ministry of Magic and how he gave his only son to the dementors. So, when he comes back to the history later on, your jaw drops.

Of course these new generations think snape was mean to potter lol Snape was trying to toughen Harry up for when he would face voldemort! He didn't want Harry to be like James, who was a swine and a jerk who thought too highly of himself. If it wasn't for Snape being so hard on Harry, it would've ended the same for Harry as it did for James.

#3 was shocking to me when I read it, but peter being the traitor just blew my head off. Maybe because we find out that James, Sirius, Remus and Peter were animagi, created the map, Sirius was innocent, lupin was a werewolf, and Peter was the traitor, all at the same time! My head just kept exploding every five minutes the more I read!

4: 25 There was never a conflict on horcrux vs hallows. It was always hallows, that was the entire point of the book. There was a brief disagreement on going to the lovegood's to investigate the sign of the hallows, and they were a big plot point in the final battle, but there wasn't any debate over going after hallows or horcruxes.

Suspected Snape was really a good guy, but his motivation? I never saw that coming. Now that was a twist. Oh, one other thing. Voldemort feared a second wizard, Harry himself, or why else would he keep trying to kill him? And yes, I did work out why he tried to kill Harry when he was a baby. Shades of King Herod anyone?

Top in the book-altho played down in the movies-was that Neville L. also born on 7/31 was the true chosen one responsible for Voldemort's death-this is why the prophecy was destroyed so Voldemort didn't learn that Neville was the one to destroy him and continue to focus on Harry Potter.
