A couple of moments I remember watching that I think should have made either dark sitcom moment list was werent mentioned:
DJs close call with an eating disorder in Full House
Eddie Winslow getting pulled over for being in the wrong neighborhood and Carl confronting the cops at a diner in Family Matters
Lt. Col. Henry Blakes helicopter crashes on its way to take him home after being discharged from MASH.
Its animated, but the episode Jurassic Bark from Futurama with Frys dog. Made me SOB, especially after I left my ex husband and I had to leave my dog behind.

I always tell my son that no matter what sum1 threatens him with, he can always tell me becoz that person will just b trying to frighten him into being quiet becoz they know they'll get into trouble wen he speaks up. I hate that we live in a world where we have to coach our children to deal with terror wen they shud b able 2 b carefree and well, children. But that's the world and we can't handcuff ourselves to them. What's truly terrifying is knowing that we can take all the precautions in the world n bad things cud still happen to them.

Number 10 was very chilling for a kids-teens targeted sit-com. It was _M. A. S. H. _ series finale level intense. Jessie suddenly singing that way while obviously going through withdrawal that totally sold how easily addictive stimulants were. Even though they were caffeine. it was a breakdown that humanized Zack in how he showed how much he really cared as well.
Number 4 made me cry. because of all people to buy a gun who never used to have one. Carlton Banks hit hard as hell. I cried with Will, but the impact still was intense.

Before I watch this I am sharing one so I don't know if it's here but on Beverly Hills 90210 there was a guy that was having a bromance on David Silver (Brian Austin Green. When David tells the kid ( don't remember his name or who played him) to step down a bit, the kid shoots himself dead much to David's horror.
Idolizing gone seriously wrong.

I could kind of relate to when Shawn's dad dies. My dad wasn't abusive or anything, but I didn't always see eye to eye with him on how he treated my mother in their marriage. Im just glad we were able to mend our relationship, father AND son before he passed away last year due to cancer

his is a great list, but does the narrration really need to be that lenghy & 'wordy' with the talking over the dialogue? I mean we don't need to hear THAT much explanation, do we? I was literally yelling, 'shut up, lady! ' into the screen as I was watching! Anyone else with me on this?

This was a great video. It shows a lot of things people go through. But I also thought the moment in Will & Grace where Grace confessed her father's bestfriend tried to rape her or when Grace's father refused blood from Will because he was gay and the HIV stereotype about the community.

Ah, yes. I remember with distinction the caffeine epidemic of the early 90s. It was harmless at first. But then one thing inevitably led to another, and suddenly you found your legs wrapped around a floor to ceiling stainless steel pole. Them there was the good ol days.

My only problem with this list is that three of these entries were on the original top 20 list. This video is called another top 10 darkest sitcom moments. How can these three from the original 20 be part of a list that is called another top 10?

6: 48 This episode shows that it's okay to buy a pistol, a AR-15 or a bolt action rifle from an ilegal gun van even if your just buy a 30-06 for hunting. That's why there are more school and mass shootings to this day in the US.

Lmao. I carry a gun all the time. Carlton was just exercising an inalienable right.
Also, Chicago has some of the strictest Gun laws with some of the most violent crime.

It's an old sitcom, but the episode of WKRP In Cincinnati with the storyline about The Who concert tragedy (11 people died) should be on your list somewhere.

What sucks is John Amos left the show because he was tired of JJ Walker's nonsense on the set, and CBS decided instead of recasting, they killed James Evans off

TV propaganda here. White racism is the problem (not true), HIV (doesnt exist) and guns (pushing an anti gun law agenda. Brainwashing.
