He is not the sun should've been #1 in my opinion. Honorable mentions should've included Meredith laying with Cristina under the OR table during Cristina's PTSD episode, Cristina asking if Meredith wanted to smoke crack when Cristina finally returned to work after the shooting and a small moment where Cristina used the sleeve of her lab coat to wipe some blood off Meredith's neck when Meredith was running the ER and trying to get pregnant.

Hands down, Christina is my favourite character on this show, and no one before or since have topped her. She's the kind of person that makes me want to ask myself 'What would Christina Yang do? ' when I have no idea how to handle a situation. It's not always a helpful answer, but it's definitely entertaining, and sometimes, it's a way to get the courage to do what I won't admit to myself that I should do.

They were two totally different people who started out on the same page in the same season but then as the years went by they went different paths and had different agendas and goals. When Christina had to have emergency surgery from an ectopic pregnancy and she finally broke down and started to uncontrollably cry and her mother said she was expecting her to lose her facilities and Meredith got Christina's mother out of the room for her should've been one as well. But with so many memorable Meredith and Christina moments your list was done very well and did them both justice.

Unpopular opinion ahead:
I actually like the friendship between Meredith and Alex more. It was one of the only male female friendships that never turned romantic. Also, their relationship has stayed strong through all the seasons of the show, whereas Christina left in season 10. They just care so much for each other and it shows.

Friends care about what is best for their friend not themselves. At one point Meredith goes to bat with Owen for Christian but sadly in 10 season Christina never does the same, in fact she often does her best to keep others at a distance from Meredith including Lexie who was a sweetheart. That was a one way friendship.
