How about you this: Due to battling the Sanderson Sister, Max and Allison have become sort of celebrities due to a movie that was made about their adventures, their daughter has become a rich spoiled mean girl and in order to try to fight back, one of the girls she bullies decides to look in Windred's book and finds a spell to revive the Sanderson Sisters. She wants learn their ways and become a witch herself. With the witches revived Thatcher Binx is pulled out of the afterlife and back into the soul of a stray black cat. Binx goes to find Dani and runs into her son who joins forces with Binx to teach Max and Allison's daughter a lesson that bullying isn't cool, to teach the bullying victim that the Sanderson Sisters aren't to be trusted, and the three of them must stop them before it's to late.

Definitely bring the original three back! As well as Omri Katz as Max and the character of Poppy and her girlfriend. I'm also about bringing in more magical creatures, but hold the vampires and werewolves please; way too overdone. They should do fairies and elves, you know the 'goblin' part of 'ghosts and goblins'. Halloween, as the Celtic festival of Samhain, was originally about the world of Faerie opening up into our own, among other things, and fairies were originally believed to be more sinister than people envision them now, and were known for causing all sorts of trouble, from minor tricksy things to things like causing deformities, blindness, madness, to death, as well as abducting people, especially children. Remember, Mary thinks the costumed trick-or-treaters are goblins!

I Agree With All Of These Except For Bringing Binx Back. I Mean, C'mon, If Him Finally Being Set Free And Reuniting With His Sister Wasn't A Happily Ever After, I Don't Know What Is. If I Had To Choose My Favorite Entry On This List, I Would Have To Go With Max Teaming Up With The Sanderson Sisters, Just Because It'll Be Nice To Give Them A Little Redemption. Besides, A Plot Like That Leaves Room For Another Bittersweet Ending With The Sisters Returning To The Afterlife Again And This Time For Good. It Probably Won't Tug At Our Heart Strings The Same Way The First Movie Did, Seeing What They've Done, But It Can Still Be A Sweet Ending Nonetheless.

1. First thing they need to do is get rid of them directors that have nothing to do with horror movies the director who is creating it all her movies flopped. And I really can't see how the director of Step Up which has a 10% rating and High School Musical can add anything to a horror movie.
2. All we need is the three witches but not the other cast vinessa Shaw was and still is a terrible actress she thinks she's some 90s gothic Icon but she is not.
3. We the fans have grown up with this movie so we want it to be scary. Not fully scary but scary enough after all it's going to be adult that will be going to see it

1. i wouldn't mind seeing one or both of the original bullies don't think we need to see the bus driver or parents. billy maybe for the fun of it
2. the only way max teams up with those sisters is when hell freezes
3. i don't think we need more magical creatures, this kind of story seems more simple the better, plus you only had witches and 1 zombie if thats what were calling billy, but we didn't have ghost, we just saw spirits of Emily and Zachary binks, they didn't look like casper, but this isn't halloween town series no need to get complicated with adding goblins and stuff.

Just watched the sequel. (Don't worry, no spoilers)
The sequel did have a few of these. Billy Butcherson was in it, the cast was definitely more diverse, there was a musical number, the original three actresses returned as the witches, and we did get to see another witch in Salem besides the sisters.
Overall, I thought the sequel was enjoyable to watch. Granted, the original was better, but isn't that almost always the case? And there were enough references to the original movie to satisfy a fan, but not so much so that it was made to be a carbon copy of the first movie.

#9 would be very unlikely considering it's been 328 years since Hocus Pocus was set (1693) and Hocus Pocus 2 is set in the Modern day Salem, meaning #5 ( have Max return, would be extremely unlikely.
Although saying this, it would be rather cool to have an end scene of the first movie showing us what happened to Ice & Jay! Did a passer by find the house and see them or did max go back and get them out of the cages or did he get even with them for the bullying that they did? I think that would be kind of awesome to see.

LOTS of people in the comment section haven't read the book. and the narrator to this video either hasn't read the book either or did a crap job of creating the sequel. Get over yourself and actually give credit where it's due. The sequel has all of these aspects, aside from one, inside its pages and the movie is already set for production with the original cast. Sorry not sorry, either put together a better list of stuff that the actual novel doesn't allude to, or don't take credit for coming up with the ideas.

I'm in as long as the original cast returns though I'll understand If Binx doesn't given how the first one ended. Sadly Mr. Denison Max and Danny's father probably won't be in the sequel as Charles Rocket who played him died a few years ago. Also would love to see Jay and Ernie aka ICE return. I saw Larry Bagby who played ICE in the indie film hit Saints and Soldiers. It was a great World War 2 drama about allied soldiers who attempt a daring escape from behind enemy lines. It was a great movie.

. The original actresses playing the sisters are back for the sequel!
. Billy is confirmed to be in the sequel!
. In the official trailer we see that the main characters are colored.
. Vampires in Hocus Pocus 2 would be interesting.
. It'd be great to see original Max!
. The Sanderson Sisters would never leave without a musical number
. I'd love for at least an interpretation of Poppy Dennison! Max and Allison's kid would be cool!

I wouldn't mind seeing the hero group be the fourth Sanderson sister(this is a concept from the book, Alisson, Danie, and Poppy being a coven of White Witches against the Sanderson trio and their mother. Also wouldn't mind if they did a small retcon and made it so Zackery Binx had another sibling when he vanished and his actor returns to play their descendant.

Its shocking to me that Sean Murray made his acting debut as a voice actor in hocus pocus the character he voiced I dont know how to spell but I know who it is but sean Murray was also known for the tv show NCIS for playing special agent McGee. Sean Murray was only 17 years old when he was in hocus pocus

First off all Katy, Bette and Sarah Jessica are back, but to long after 30 years. More witches from AHS would be cool, as is a big musical number ala I Put a Spell on you. But keep the vibe as it was in the 1993 movie. Why do we need all the Inclusion?
reply

Here's an idea: put in a character that only looks like a child, but isn't (like the Orphan) & the Sanderson's don't find out until trying to cast the spell (of course put in some explanation as to why the one sister couldn't sniff him/her out.
reply

I would not be against more diverse characters I don't want them shoe horned I'm a bit sick of the stereo types particularly with gay characters since I am myself. I also hope it's fun and not just some huge political lecture
reply

Hey, what if the sequel focused on a child of one of the Sanderson sisters out for revenge against Max, Allison, and Dani? And they must revive the sisters to defeat the new witch (played by, maybe, Vanessa Hudgens.
reply

I'm not expecting too much out of it, as long as it makes cronological sence from the first movie and the 3 witches are the same, i'm good.
I'm liking it so far from what i saw in the trailer, looks promising

reply

Im a big fan of Halloween, I love hocus-pocus, Halloween town and the nightmare before Christmas and Im also a Harry Potter fan. so heres my idea, The Crom well witches could help get rid of the Sanderson sisters.
reply

it just wouldn't feel right if we don't get the original cast for the Sanderson sisters, they are the prefect fit! so lets hurry up and get a another virgin to light the candle for our main cast to come back!
reply

One thing I want to see is Sarah turning good and her getting a redemption
Sarah is the only witch in the movie who I thought had potential for good but couldnt be good because of her evil family.

reply

Just the same Sanderson sisters, and Dani, Max, Allison, and binx. Oh how I hate remakes or sequels with different actors. Its always weird to me and always takes the love away from the original.
reply

Its honestly sad but Disney only puts heart into new projects, all the new live actions or sequels have been treated as cash grabs you can tell in each one they really rushed and didnt care
reply

In 1993 no one cared about diversity. Not even POCs. They just cared about if the movie was entertaining or not. Now too many people make it the determining factor on if the film is good or not.
reply

Listen, I love hay people and all that diverse stuff, but don't mess this up. None of that has anything to do with the movie than, and it shouldn't now. No offesnse. It just doesn't need it.
reply

So how about they use can you feel the love. from the lion king? Lol The sweet caress of twilight
There's magic everywhere
And with all this romantic atmosphere
Disaster's in the air!

reply

Is no one talking about Thackery Binx returning? That would be amazing. Binx did say he would always be with Dani. Anyone wanna see Dani and Thackery reunit.
reply

Watched the second movie two days ago. I loved every moment of it, even if certain things were pretty predictable. I'd watch it again and again: 3

Im all for representation but not every piece of media need a gay or transgender character its not going to make the media better or worse
reply

it be cool if there was another witch family in Salem and there more evil than the trio that killed there mother and need max and all
reply
