I sincerely respect the people who like Billie Eilish but in my opinion shes seriously just the new less better Avril Lavigne. Also avrils music was way better and different but in a cool way. Billie Eilishs music is for me too weird and a little depressive if I might add.
I feel also like billie eilishs music isnt that memorable! honestly I already forgot a lot of her songs. I mean her songs arent bad theyre just not my taste: ( Please dont hate because this is just my opinion! I feel she is truly different just not my type and I wouldnt call her iconic because for that it takes way more than what she does

I knew she would go on to do great things. Her voice is unlike another setting her way, way apart from the mainstream. She has a different sound, serene almost sultry for another word. It's beautiful! And if you weren't or aren't a fan, give a listen cause you will be. Young, old, teen, and middle aged, everyone loves them some Billie Eilish.

Let's be honest. Every artist has haters. Specially if someone comes out of nowhere and becomes extremely famous and is just a little different They'll hate them even more. But that's just how it's been with people that are now known as legends. Not saying Billie will become a legend xD I can't know that. We'll have to wait and see

I mean Im not a fan of her music. I never heard music that made me physically uncomfortable like the music of this artist. Idk what it is, but it sounds like Im being tortured with sound. I guess like ghost music? idk its weird.
But anyway good for her for being a young successful person.

I heard her talk about that first song when she had an interview on Buzzfeed a while back - We lay all day in the green green grass, oh what a wonderful life. - and I still think she and Finneas could tweak the lyrics a bit and have the start of something really good.

I've heard of this broad but I don't know what the big deal is about her. She is definitely not no Cyndi Lauper or Pat Benatar or Joan Jett So, what's the big deal about this broad?
80s female singers rule any other female singer outside of the 80s suck in my opinion

i can't deny that she is smart enough to have found a formula that works, one that in the mainstream is more tolerable than the rest of the crap that makes it into the public awareness, but just to provide a dissenting opinion- it is mediocre at best, overhyped.

First time I've felt old and out of touch when my 17 year old niece told me she saw her live. and I'm like. who dat. listened and died inside. I just dont like her stuff. must be cuz I'm 32 and old lol jk everyone has their own likes and dislikes

I've got nothing against her or her music (it's personally not my taste) but, I can't help but think in a couple years nobody is gonna even remember her. These flavor of the week artists are a dime a dozen. It's unfortunate, but realistic.

The 1st thing I ever heard about her was the incident where she got rid of one her fans jacket. and their fan letter was found at a flea market later. she just tossed their gift like it was trash
Not a great 1st impression tbh

I saw her in concert back in 2018, when she was just starting to rise. My little sister insisted on me coming, even though it wasn't my type of music. I enjoyed the concert, and now I quite like a lot of her music.

Everyone that's willing to sell there soul or there kids soul for $ & fame come up quick. Then they gotta sacrifice a loved one. Billie is REALLY BILLY! another Hellywood Tran!

I feel like shes a product of the machine. Shes constantly shoved down our throats. her rise seems inorganic to me. Maybe I just dont get it.

Usually when young celebrities achieve success at a young age usually good careers sometimes crash and burn well they're still young.

When I heard she was the first person to win 4 Grammy's since 1981, it was at that moment I knew it gotta be Michael Jackson!

Im a 30-year old woman who has loved Hanson since I was 7. I now love Billie and Finneas and this explains why!

Not to mention she is now also the youngest artist to have the feature song for the upcoming James Bond film

My favorite song of hers is bad guy, mostly because of how much fun she looks like she's having in the video!
reply

She's like the Arya Stark of music. Especially after singing the James Bond theme song for No Time To Die.
