Click Here: If you cant get enough of the Wizarding World Its not a deleted scene but I always hated how they had Hermione explain what mudblood meant in the second movie instead of Ron. Hermione isnt from a magical family so how would she know what it means. It made more sense that Ron would explain it. So much of what Ron says and the majority of his decent lines went to Hermione in the movies. I love Hermione but the reason she was so great in the books is because she wasnt perfect. We saw her flaws and that made her a better character. They really did not do Ron justice in the movies. Rupert Grint was a great Ron but they did not give him the material to work with. Also I will never forgive them for how Ron and Hermione got together. That scene in the book was perfect and really spoke to both characters. And Ginny. God they destroyed what was a fierce, sarcastic and intelligent character into bland wallpaper. Ugh I could go on and on about the flaws of the movies but I would be here all day so Im just going to end it here and go have a cup of tea.\r\n

As far as I'm concerned, the film version of Prisoner of Azkaban entirely bollix'd up a lot of major plot points, such as not being clear on the exact history of the Marauders' Map, the reveal between Sirius and Lupin in the Shrieking Shack (done so sloppily that no one who hadn't read the book could possibly have understood what was going on, that wonderful, touching moment when Harry's Patronus approached him and Harry realized it was Prongs, and Sirius's final line to Harry, You are truly your father's son! -- yet another important and emotionally moving moment that didn't make the cut.

How dare THEY CUT DRACOS Redemption ARC/ i know they feel he doesnt deserve it but, all through out the books and movies draco is lowering his wand protecting Harry, and crying to himself because he doesnt know who he really is/ not to mention him genuinely sad when he kills that bird in the cabinet, he doesnt want to kill dumbledore, he knows if he doesnt they will kill him but he lowers his wand anyway, the only reason he puts it up is because Belatrix and the rest of the death eaters show up. (And I know Ive thought of this to much)

Sir Cadogan was not only funny, but very important to the book. Sirius breaking in Gryffindor and not hurting anybody was an important moment, because made you think what hes up to? Why he entered Harrys room and didnt kill him?
Also, they cut to much of Goblet of Fire. Is the best book by far because theres a lot going on inside and outside Hogwarts (the whole Bart Crouch thing.

I don't know if it was ever shot, but in the Mad Magazine parody of the 1st movie, they had the bit where they're going for the Philosopher's Stone and Hermione has to solve the logic riddle for the bottles on the table. The Mad drawing was fairly detailed which makes think it was shot, but not used.

One scene that I think should have been in the sixth film is when Bob Ogden goes to visit the Gaunt Family. That one day sets the stage for Voldemort becoming who he became and I think it was vital. I think Peter O Toole would have been great to play Marvolo - he was such a versatile actor.

Harry Potter should have been a full fledged episodic series not movie series because it has missed out so many things like you said there was so much happening in the deathly hallows 2 we couldn't not even process and feel the emotions due to the deaths of some of the important characters.

the dursley scenes should have definitely been in the movies. when dudley said i dont think youre a waste of space and i dont understand, isnt he coming with us? to harry that added so much sympathy to to dudleys character and that it shows how dudley always thought of harry as a brother.

The copy of movie we have have the following scenes in the following time stamps which I can't remember watching in our previous copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
3: 44
10: 40
11: 19
As well as the scene in 4: 30 in the Chamber of Secrets scene.

Draco tossing Harry his wand doesn't belong on this list. Harry already had Dracos wand he took it when they escaped from Malfoy Manor and while we're at it Petunias I lost a sister. line doesn't fit either they hadnt spoken face to face in years when Lily and James died.

This just tells you how many important elements there were in the final book. Even if they made a third movie, there would still be scenes that wouldn't make the cut. That final book is just that dense.

That moment when you realise that in the deleted scene of Philosopher's Stone, Snape moves close to Harry's face and lectures him. just to get a better look at Lily's eyes. And they make him speechless.
reply

Not sure why the directors decided to make Ginny a awkward character who has no chemistry at all with Harry. all they show is a weird kiss lol but no context of the actual relationship.
reply

I like your top 10 videos but if you are going to do one for something as popular as this at least pronounce names properly. It makes it seem like you never seen the movies.
reply

the fact that they deleted Draco throwing Harry the wand just completely removes his character resolution and redemption. There's no end to his arc at all, he feels unfinished
reply

We'll never get enough of the wizarding world
Me: i mean ive been begging for them to STOP ruining the legacy since 2016 but no one listens. I, personally have had enough

I don't understand why movies like the HP are edited to not include such scenes! They know fully well that potterheads would gladly watch an extra hour of ALL the movies.
reply

I think you missed the fight with bellatrix lestrange. that was a big deleted scene which would have added such a darker tone to the order of the phoenix
reply

The teacher sitting next to Trelawney is the one pronounced dead in the scene where Harry arrives in the Great Hall and learns Fred, Remus, and Tons died

We love HP over here! What did you think of these deleted scenes? Let us know below, and also tell us what other Harry Potter videos you want to see!
reply

The scene where Draco gives Harry his wand would've been the perfect redemption for Draco. It would've shown how good and brave he was in the end.
reply

The trelawney dinner scene was less about her being unimpressed with Umbridge and more about the fact that she's blind and struggling with her food
reply

There where so many wonderful scene they didn't put in. I think we should all petition for rerelease of all Harry Potter saga with all the scene.
reply

anyone else upset they completely ruined Ginny's character and if you only saw the movies her and Harry ending up together makes no sense.
reply

For me the best scene among all of the deleted ones is the one when Draco throws his wand, that would change everyone's opinion about him
reply

I'm trying to find videos of just the deleted scenes but legit EVERY one I find has people feeling like they need to narrate on top of it. X. X
reply

Some scenes are their in the movies. I wonder why u say they are cut. I saw them. like the leg locker curse, you need us harry and more
reply

The Dudley, Malfoy redemption and Remus and Tonks scenes shouldnt have been cut! They alone would have made the film 100 times better!
reply

Some of these got cut off recently, I remember watching the leg locker and the potion scene and some others a few years ago
reply

I'm so pissed for some scenes, because the important ones (like Draco throwing his wand) lasts SECONDS. Lite five. So frustrating!
