3 Oscar winners. and a musical legend with 9 Grammy wins. Ms. Sarah Paulson, with an Emmy. Many, many awards amongst these ladies. Yes - the cast is certainly legendary - which is an even bigger reason they should have been able to come up with something much more creative and legendary than a remake of a movie that's already been done. Yes, maybe the story is different. But just by tying it to the franchise they isolated men from liking it, by basically seeming as if the first ones and their respective remakes with men weren't good enough, and makes the idea instantly seem stale. They could have spun it as a fresh idea with a few more creative differences than the Ocean's stories and had something legendary on their hands. This could have been so empowering and remarkable to see a cast of women like this playing off each other and raising each other up. However, IMO, they fouled up the instant they chose to call it an Ocean's reboot with women. No matter how good the movie may be, I think it will leave a bad taste in the mouths of many more than it will please.

I don't think a heist film needs a villain. When you're out to steal something the person you're stealing it from matters very little. I've stolen things from ppl I've hated and ppl I've liked. Ultimately, the person doesn't matter, only the goods do. A villain only serves to create an unnecessarily complicated and convoluted plot, and you then end up with movies like all of The fast and The Furious franchise.

Okay, FIRST off, I hope everyone here will watch this movie with an open mind. Sure, it is a reboot, sure, it will never live up to the original, but give it a chance. It is kinda dumb, but do not waste your money in the movies, wait till it comes out.

I love O11 and O13 so i kinda felt meh about watching 8. I had no idea that Helen stars at it tho. I may give it a shot.
