I was Hoping the Sleepy Kittens would be #1. Because it has its humourous moments, when Gru begins reading the book, he was Someone, kill me now. Because Gru reluctantly agrees to read the book to the girls, in order to get them to sleep. But it wasn't until he got to the ending when read Though while you sleep, we are apart. Your mommy. loves you, with all her heart. At the moment, we learned that Gru has never been loved anyone before, not even his own mother. It that moment where Gru begins to realize that he was falling in love with the girls, that made him shut the book quickly and dash out of there, because he left it was too much for him. It should have been the #1 moment of the Despicable Me franchise, because it was cute, funny, and was both heartwarming and utterly endearing.

I don't see why people would love any of Illuminations films. They are all total cash grabs and the people who make these films should be ashamed of themselves.
I see that the ONLY 2 Illumination films that are ACTUALLY good are Despicable Me, and Sing.
All of there other films, and sequels are total, obvious, and obnoxious cash grabs that are not good in the slightest.
For those who love these films. Don't lie to yourself. There are plenty of greater films out there that are worth your time.
Like Spider-Man into the Spider-verse and/or How To Train Your Dragon
Now those are masterpieces.

Whenever I told people I was in my second childhood in Mom's presence, she'd bring me back to earth: No, you never left the first one. I saw Despicable Me several times on cable but simply had to have my own copy---plus DM2 and Minions. (I've never watched DM3 past the intro of his, er. _twin_ brother) Minions are hilarious! P. S. I'm hooked on several animated comedy movies (Over the Hedge, Open Season, The Croods) Stay safe.

Where are the scenes in the first movie in which Dave the minion shoots a rocket launcher into the air by accident and gets punched in the arm by a charred minion and where the two minions fight over Grus fake resume and the first minion grabs the other minion by the head and started whacking it onto the keyboard?

Believe me, I'm a Despicable Me fan and I kinda like the Minions, it's a good thing that the Despicable Me franchise is now 10 years old. By July, I'll celebrate it's 10th anniversary of Despicable Me. Also, I can't wait for the upcoming animated Super Mario movie being done by Nintendo and Illumintion.

I still cant believe minions 2 the rise of gru has been delayed all the way to July 2021. A whole year! It almost couldve come out the end of this year, start of next year, in a pinch.
