I have an idea in order for Walt Disney Pictures in order to take a break from doing live action remakes and the idea is to release a theactrical big budget hand drawn animated film adaptation of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with the directors of Aladdin and the little mermaid John Musker and Ron Clements to direct, music by Alan Menken and Andrew Lloyd Webber while time rice doing lyrics of the songs, And here's my choice list of cast who would be perfect to play the roles in the movie
Donny Osmond as Joseph
Jodi Benson as the Narrator
John Goodman as Jacob
Keith David as Potiphar
Elsie lovelock as Mrs. Potiphar
Brian Hull as pharroh
Samuel E. Wright as Judah
Nathan Lane as the baker
Eric Idle as the butler
Jennifer Hale as Asenath
Other brothers of Joseph should be played by Tom Kenny, Jim Cummings, and Brian Hull.
What do u think of that please tell me.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is to musical theatre what Michael Bay is to movie directing, hugely overrated and not particularly interesting; Phantom of the Opera I maintain to be the most overrated musical out there, I don't think it's particularly well composed, and I find the songs boring and unengaging, plus when you look at it objectively it really hasn't aged well. I absolutely love musical theatre, however I prefer shows with more interesting scores and more engaging narratives, which is why I think Hamilton and Book of Mormon are so damn good, Les Mis is far better than Phantom, Billy Elliot and Miss Saigon are hugely underrated, and Come From Away deserves so much more attention. Love me a classic as well, really enjoyed the Producers, Cabaret and West Side Story when I saw the on stage. Lloyd Webber though just doesn't do anything for me, plus I've heard he's a right dickhead.

I am so proud of you for putting JCS at #1! I know I am one of the few but POTO just has never done it for me. When I am in the mood I enjoy the music but that it isn't #1 on your list just made me happy. And THANK YOU for including Whistle Down the Wind in the Honorable Mentions. The music is amazing. It is too bad it was a musical that just didn't do well.

my top two would be these:
1. The Phantom of the opera
2. Evita
the reason why i could watch these movies over and over again because i love the songs that he made for these musicals. I also like the casting that he pick for the Broadway and film verison of each one.

Im glad that you recognized that By Jeeves is underrated! Its honestly such a good, funny musical with great songs. But, come on! Phantom is without a doubt his best musical. Its so freaking good. It has a magic that no other musical can compare to.

I like the music in love never dies but I think it completely ruined some character. I loved Roul and his love with Christine in the phantom of the opera then why on earth did they turn him into an alcoholic idiot?

Kudos to Germany for giving Starlight Express its due respect. Honestly, the scene in The Lion King where Mufasa's spirit talks to Simba seems like it's ripped straight out of the Starlight Sequence.

This lady is talking so much, she lost me 3 minutes in! I can't bear to watch through to the end! Mojo - Try a countdown with musical highlights and talking either before and/or AFTERWARDS

Although JCS is my personal favorite, Phantom is iconic and should be number one. Whoever put this list together doesnt have their finger on the true pulse of Broadway.

Although I agree with the topw three, I don't agree with order: For my personal likings, Evita is his best work (and one of Rice's top work as well)

As a Pink Floyd & Andrew Lloyd Webber fan, Ill never get over how Webber managed to practically steal the main riff from Echoes for the Phantom theme.

I wish you guys would stop using the awful Phantom movie for examples. It was horrible. Please use the stage show footage. Thank you.

Sure, let's NOT put the Longest Running Broadway Show EVER in #1 Spot. because that makes total sense (what do you guys have against POTO)

I'm mildly sad you didn't include the 2012 stadium tour of JCS with Tim Minchin as Judas. He's a close second to Brandon Victor Dixon.

Fun fact: Originally Andrew Lloyd Webber was suppose to compose Thomas the tank engine and friends by Britt Allcroft but it was shelved.

I love Phantom but I really think it is highly overrated. As far as musical theater composers go, I think Andy is very second rate!

Who would have thought organ and electric guitar would sound so good together? For that reason alone it deserves to be first

Lots of people in this comment section are complaining that POTO was not #1, but I consider JCS to be a better musical.

How does Aspects of Love not even get a mention? I really liked that show. I actually got to see the original London cast.

He doesn't consider Love Never Dies a sequel, but a second story featuring the same characters.
Is that not a sequel?

You just discredited yourself by not listing Phantom as #1. Its not the longest running musical of all time for nothing!
