I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I watched 'Your Name' a little while ago, and I didn't think it lived up to the hype. The artistry was great and the story was fair enough, but I didn't think it was as great as everyone had been saying - I blanked out in the middle because I got bored (I knew what was going on but I wasn't exactly giving it my whole attention.
All I'm saying is that I would put Howl's Moving Castle at No. 1 and Your Name a little further down, but that's just my opinion.

honestly, your name is not really the best romance movie in my opinion, because it seemed a bit complicating for me to understand what was really going on. However, this was probably due to lack of times i've watched it. now howl's moving castle was the absolute best as it was the first ghibli film i have ever watched and it was wholesome af.

From up on poppy hill was directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki and to me a really underrated ghibli film, I strongly believe it deserves much more respect, the characters and the story line were beautifully written, losing control of your own film is one thing many great directors did, but Goro on From up on poppy hill just didn't.

Your Name is my #1 Romantic anime movie. Its a Masterpiece. the layout, the music, the characters, the script, the storyline LITERALLY EVERYTHING about that movie was amazing and I will never forget how it made me feel. 5 cm per second. one of the worse anime I have ever seen. It leaves with you with such terrible feelings. I feel sad just by hearing the title. And the development it s confusing, obviously one of his early works. I deeply dislike it.
