Raul was a legend. I never had the pleasure to meet him since he died before I was born. But his sons often visit and my grandparents, parents and uncles always tell us stories about him and he was honestly one of the most hardworking people ever and put absolutely everything into his work. If you ever get the chance to watch his documentary from PBS you should. He was so loved by his professional community, as well as his family.

The Addams Family was a huge part of my childhood. My first introduction to them honestly was a Scooby Doo at the movies series where they had episodes with the 3 Stooges, Batman & Robin, Sandy Duncan, etc. I will cry the day we lose Christopher Lloyd. From The Pagemaster to Hacker on Cyberchase, he is an icon.

Even after all these years, it still kinda hurts to see Raul Julia. Rest in Peace
Random Fact: Anjelica Houston beat Cher to play Morticia Adams. Throughout production, Houston had some difficulty with maintaining her posture. She credits weed to help her mellow out.

A couple of years ago I played the role of Wednesdays Addams when our class made our own adaptation of the movie. Also fun fact: We changed Pugslys name to Friday. 1. Because its easier to say and 2. Since the daughters name is Wednesday why not have the son named Friday?

Screw the animated movies. Can't we get a 3rd movie where the whole cast returns, Raul Julia's Gomez is dead, and while Morticia mourns for her lost, Wednesday (now married to Joel Glicker) and Pugsley are now force to be responsible for the family home and traditions?

I thought Christina Ricci was great in the werewolf movie she made, having lived in Hollywood, I got a kick out of the many inside jokes about Los Angeles all through the movie. It was fun. She has a much wider range than she has had a chance to show.

The cast were absolutely pitch perfect to portray their respective characters, particularly Christina as Wednesday. Her deadpan responses were hilarious. I'm a homicidal maniac, they look just like everyone else.

Tragically? Dude was in pain. Tragically? More like a blessing. Do your homework. Raul Julia was in pain for years and he died tragically? No, his passing was a blessing. Who taught you?

Thank you for the update, MsMojo! I watched the first movie in a movie theater at night back in 1991, and I even purchased the movie's soundtrack (cassette) back then. The Mamushka!

For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

If memory serves, Carl Struycken also had a reoccurring role on Star Trek TNG as Mr Homm, Luwoxanna Troi's valet.
