It was a really good movie, the best from DCEU so far but it could be an amazing movie if they had a balls to do one thing. Diana should found out that Ares wasn't behind this war, that people did this because they can be evil. That would make full circle with her naive character and give her a really good reason to stay in the shadows until BvS. If the movie would be set in II World War it would be even more badass because it's hard to people what Nazis did and it could really show that people can be real monsters. That would be unexpected and a great plot twist.

'Watch Wonder Woman on Amazon Prime Video' - Appropriate, given she IS the Amazon Prime.
Also, where's the list for Wonder Woman moments in general? This movie is no doubt amazing, but Diana is pretty much bad$$ in every incarnation. This is the same woman who blinded herself to beat the Medusa, defeated of the entirety of the Justice League, wrote a best selling book, stabbed Darkseid in the eye with her sword, this woman's awesomeness knows no end!

What i love most about this movie is that didn't try to erase her femininity. She was strong because of her traditionally feminine traits, not despite them. So many super hero movies make their female super heroes strong by having them immitate men or take on traditionally masculine characteristics. In this movie Diana is strong because of her compassion, vulnerability, willingness to work with others and bring out the best in them.

#10 is overrated. There is a test, called the Bechdel test, to measure the representation of women in fiction. It asks whether a work features: at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man. It seems simple, but even today a lot of movies does not pass this test.

Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins were born to bring this Wonder Woman to us. Currently, I can't think of any other actress playing Wonder Woman and any other director directing it. Wonder Woman, is a movie that you should definitely refer to your friends and family.

I got goosebumps, too, the first time I saw the No man's land part of the movie, and I cry every time I see it now. That said, I cry at the end of Guardians of the galaxy 2, also. when he gets the honorable send off, too. I'm a sucker for that sort of thing
reply

I seriously cried tears of joy and pride when I was sitting in the theater when Diana took to the field in the No Mans Land scene. I grew up watching the tv series. WW was my hero. I had waited my whole life for that scene to be on the big screen.

it's like Gal Gadot was born to play Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman was created for Gal Gadot.
I can't wait for WW84, I really hope I get to see it on the big screen and that there will be a 3rd 4th 5th installment of the this movie.

I think you should have added the scene where Diana and Steve get intimate. I think that scene serves as a symbol of Diana's further exploration of the world and the relation between men and women.

I was watching BvS and Wonder Woman and I had so much fun.
That entry and fight of hers with Doomsday and that No Man's Land and after that fight sequence is so much amazing.

Every moment in this movie is just awesome. But my all time favorite scene is No Man's Land. When she went up that ladder, History was made finally for all woman of color.
reply

The reason wonder woman is great is because it isn't a movie about a FEMALE superhero but a story about a superhero that happens to be a strong determined woman
reply

Though it took long before Wonder Woman graced the silver screen, it was definitely worth the wait. So excited to see Diana's next epic adventure in the 80's.

Wonder Woman 1 is playing at the theatre in our city. We were talking about going to New Mutants again, but instead we're going to Wonder Woman this weekend!

I think I like it when she outsmarts Samir. Its like theyre using a load languages to compete with each others smarts and she totally owns him
reply

They should have definitely put in both the scenes when one puts up the shield and the other uses it to jump much higher before attacking.
reply

You guys got this entire list right! I still get teary-eyed from No Man's Land! Come what may, she did it on her own. Goosebumps!

Of course No Man's Land is the best one. It's where we get to see Diana shine as Wonder Woman and OMG the shots are beyond gorgeous
