Christina I've loved Marilyn since I was a child. There's no way she topped herself. She had too many good things happening for her. Her new home, new furniture that was on order. She'd lost weight and never looked better. She was a threat to the Kennedy's and ultimately that was her demise. So very sad indeed as she had so much more to offer. Somewhere, amongst everything we've been told is the truth. Mrs Murray knew everything and must have been paid a fortune to keep quiet. So many were involved. A massive cover up. I wonder what happened to the diary. Someone must know! Such a talented and funny lady and very beautiful. Such a waste and great loss. I always felt like I had list a family when died. The same as when Elvis died.

Number 9 is something Kurt Cobain said, not Marilyn. Numbers 6, 5, 4, and 1 are all fake quotes attributed to Marilyn. The second and third quotes in the honorable mentions are also fake. Why would she, a woman who had a fear of being mentally ill like her mother, say madness is genius. A lot of this can be seen as fake because 1) the language just isn't Marilyn, 2) it's too modern, and 3) there's no source/someone else said it. Research was desperately needed for this video. I bet there were even more fake quotes in here.

Sometimes it's still strange to think that someone so mindblowingly beautiful, charming, magnetic, talented, intelligent, progressive and endearing as Marilyn Monroe actually lived. She truly was a star too bright for this world but even though she's tragically no longer here, her star just continues to burn brighter and illuminate the sky as time continues to go by. There simply will never be another Marilyn Monroe

This is horrible. You guys have not researched any of these quotes. A lot of them are down right false. Calling someone sweetie? She was never condescending, and number 5 is an outright wrong quote. Her mother was mentally ill, and she was horrified she would become mentally ill too. She would have never said madness is genius. How much research was actually put into this? This is downright embarrassing.

Well l don't know about the rest of you, but, this video proves, by her own quotes, that Marilyn was murdered!
Because if those quotes actually apply to her and her beliefs, well then, she had to much to live for and even if she were to be alone, it would'nt have made any difference!

It must have been annoying to work with lateness and re-doing too many takes, too bad she was insecure because I think she had great instincts on acting. But her on-screen presence was unparalleled, which is why the directors put up with it.

9: 38 You're the saddest girl I ever met. - husband Arthur Miller's own view of MM; he wrote it directly into The Misfits. Your cheery look at her (including several quotes of - yes - other origin) feels rather glib, sorry to say.

Im a big MM fan but Ive never agreed with the quote about if you cant accept me at my worst you dont deserve me at my best. People shouldnt have to put up with another persons bs to prove themselves worthy of being with you.

She left Joe? Subway-skirt filming blew up a fury in their hotel that night (he wanted her to quit acting to be his wife at home) with oft-reported violence and even bruises on her. Leave physical violence? Good on her.

She was a woman way ahead of her time. She was a true talent and incredibly misunderstood, she was very intelligent. HOWEVER, a lot of these quotes she never said nor are facial. Why not quote her actual quotes.
reply

Problem doing so many posts? Depth & truth lacking. You miss much of what truly made MM special, and portray self-aggrandisement quite at odds with her true nature. First Mojo ever for which I clicked Dislike.

Hi
She was the opposite of confident, disappearing behind a false glamour facade, depressed, lonely and abandoned, dying from an overdose, [ Suicide or killed, ] at 37! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua

1: 07 This star understood her worth. - in very much a 2-way street. Not confident on set, always with an acting coach, perennially late to film a scene due mostly to paralyzing nerves.

What a smart and beautiful woman marilyn was she was a real great example that you can be an orphan and came from nothing and if you believe in yourself you can reach the stars

One day, then-roommate Susan Strasberg saw Marilyn staring at her own nude body in a full-length mirror. What are you doing? asked Susan. MM's reply: Looking at her.
reply

She was certainly the most underrated artist of her time.
Envied for her independence and her intelligence, which often
made many men look old.

this lady is proof that beauty is more than skin deep. she left this world far too soon. who knows what she could have done if she had lived longer?
reply

I grew up in a religious home who didnt like M. M. But I'm a rebel and Love her sooooo much R. I. P. beautiful. smart. loving. Awesome Marilyn Monroe
reply

Isn't it strange, that the term 'dumb blonde', was attributed and based upon a woman who was actually, quite intelligent! Chauvinism?
reply

I love these quotes and Ms. Monroe so much but how many were lines written for her and how many were originated by her? Just curious.
reply

WOW! I just realized that many of these quotes are so overused in the present and we don't even know they come from her! ICON.
reply

So tired of those fake quotes about Marilyn! Even if it can be inspiring, you should study her history more carefuly, please.
reply

You know what they say about girls who wear glasses. Men aren't attentive to girls who wear glasses
Wow! Is this true?

reply

Im a huge Marilyn fan but I dont believe she said most of these things. Could it be quotes inspired by Marilyn maybe?
reply

So many females inspire me and I must admit Marilyn is definitely on the list. She was such an unique, flawless beauty.
reply

I wish it were possible that Norma Jean could know all these decades later how beloved she is, how respected she is.
reply

Marilyn didn't actually say any of these things, but nice video though. It was nice seeing her in HD.
