When they decided to revive Get Smart in the early 90s with Andy Dick as the now-grown son of Maxwell Smart and 99, they had an episode where he falls in love with a woman who turns out to be the daughter of Smart Sr's old nemesis, KAOS agent Siegfried. Instead of taking this as a sign to break up immediately, the two of them talk about how weird it was to grow up with spies as parents, always lying about what they did for a living. Smart Jr says his father always claimed to be a greeting-card salesman (the cover story they used in the original series, and Siegfried's daughter says her father always claimed he was a doctor on a cruise ship (Siegfried was played by Bernie Kopell, who in the intervening years played Dr Bricker on The Love Boat.

In the opening to A-Team, Dirk Benedict walks by an original Cylon Centurian at Universal I guess and starts to say something to him, but changes his mind. Dirk played Lieutenant Starbuck on the original Battlestar Galactica. In She Spies, Natasha Henstridge tries to get rid of some kids by telling them to go watch Species, because Natasha Henstridge was naked in it. Star Trek: Picard had a scene that resembled the time travel done by the Star Trek IV crew. They were riding a bus and the same punk rocker that Spock neck pinched was riding it playing the same song (although updated) as he did originally. It was also the same guy from Star Trek IV.

I can think of several, but one of my favorites was in The Middle, when Ray Romano guest starred. He ran into Mike and Frankie on their camping honeymoon, and upon seeing them says, Hey! I know you! You think hes talking to Frankie because shes played by Patricia Heaton who played his wife Debra in Everybody Loves Raymond. Actually, though, he was talking to Mike because he went to high school with him. But the best part happens when Frankie finds him in the tent later and chases him out. He says, You know, in a parallel universe, we could have been very happy together.

I think just for the scope and that they actually pulled it off (mainly that they actually got actors from previous movies and shows DECADES ago, the Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-overs should have been #1.
I also think that Melissa Joan Hart's callback to Sabrina: The Teenage Witch in Melissa & Joey should at least be an honorary mention.

The reboot of MacGyver has a couple of callbacks to the original. In the first scene, Thornton's alias is Ms. Elcar, in honor of Dana Elcar who played Pete Thornton in the original. And in the following scene, Mac lifts a prop missile over his shoulder like the original MacGyver did in a promo for the original series.

You could have added a Kevin Conroy clip to that Arrowverse bit.
Also, John Wesley Shipp and Mark Hamil were callbacks in The Flash to the 90s Flash series, both as Barry's Dad AND his Flash role in the Crisis.
As for Hamil, he played The Trickster AND uses his most famous series most famous line in an episode

Never noticed the Dawson creek one. I can't rewatch that show no matter how much I enjoyed it all when I was young, Dawson just irks me. Seriously what does he do for the show? Supposed to be the main character but he is not needed to make the show. Should have been a side character like Abby

The season 1 episode of Superman and Lois (A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events) where they flashback to Clark and Lois meeting and they play it out exactly the way it was done in the first Christopher Reeves Superman movie. It's brilliant.

Funny enough, Crisis on Infinite Earths brought that same version of Superman back because remember, Superman Returns was meant to be a soft reboot sequel or requel ) Or seboot ) To the first two Superman movies which explains the twist in the movie.

The greatest for me? On Game of Thrones, they had a guy mindlessly chant hodor for FIVE seasons, then they finally reveal that hes actually saying Hold the door, which is the last thing he says as he heroically dies in the future. Mind blowing.

The great show Burn Notice had several callbacks to the first episode in the series finale. I loved how they did that and is one of my favorite series endings ever. I still wish it would come back for at least a little run.
