I think Catra's the most evil person in the series, aside from Horde Prime and Shadow Weaver. The more I think about all the shit that Catra did, the more I dislike her. But despite that, I still cry when she saves Glimmer. Catra's a terrible person but she was handled so well that I can still feel sorry for her. I don't really buy her redemption though because 1) it was far too rushed and 2) it relied far too heavily on her relationship with Adora. Catra depends on Adora, and to a lesser extent Shadow Weaver, for her entire identity which makes her pathetic compared to, for example, Entrapta who had her own identity without needing to rely on anybody else.
Speaking of Entrapta, she was always much more than comic relief. She practically wrote the story after joining the Horde, apart from when she was on Beast Island in Season 4. I'd also argue that she's the strongest person in the entire series, not physically but in an emotional and intellectual sense. Being on the autism spectrum, it's much harder for Entrapta to interact with people but she's always putting in 100% (Bow's speech about the difficulties of friendship rings hollow when you realise that he has no idea how much harder it is for autistic people to connect with others) and she does it with enthusiasm and kindness, despite the shameful way most people treat her. The only characters who truly respect Entrapta and never treat her like she's a child or worse, an animal (ahem Perfuma ahem) are Hordak and Scorpia.
I'm somewhat wary of a movie. Season 5 was good and wrapped up the series well but She-Ra was at its peak in Season 4. Glimmer in particular was much more complex and well developed in that season and Double Trouble was an excellent addition. My only complaint about Season 4 is that Entrapta was absent for most of it but that's a subjective complaint because the season functioned perfectly without her. Season 5 has way more problems, mostly revolving around Catra's rushed redemption arc. Maybe they should just leave She-Ra alone because the series had a good ending and we wouldn't want it to be tarnished.

I think that Catra and Adora had such a complex relationship and so many moments. The thing that I love most abt Catra admitting that she loves Adora isn't her saying I love you I always have like don't get me wrong that was beautiful but that was always obvious to me, it was two other sentences. At the beginning of her speech she said you've never given up on anything. Not even on me, damn that got me crying because it was true. Adora tried to get Catra to the side of good all through the show. The other sentence was please just this once. STAY. GOD THAT BROKE ME I couldn't handle it anymore. Catra never had anybody except for Adora. Adora was the person she trusted most. And then Adora left her. So Adora staying and not dying by the end FOR CATRA showed that she finally chose her over everyone else. And then they saved the universe together. That's THE moment for me. You know along side a couple of others. But like seriously give them their own list I can give you 20 moments.

Catra and Adora have a relationship that develops with the seasons. We see that they have a very strong bond even when they fight and for me it is obvious that they love each other not in friendship but in love. spoiler: The prom scene shows it by the way I find it and it's not the only one. The scene of the citadel broke my heart especially when Catra said, I will miss you very much after Adora's crying. And when the two admitted their feelings, I also cried, it touched me, their love is strong and the kiss was beautiful. If we're talking about Catra, I've always loved her because I understand her pain. She suffers a lot and needs Adora it's obvious. She feels terribly alone and lost in the depths of her heart just like me. We also see the evolution of Catra and Adora through the seasons. So the end is beautiful.

My favourite part is the end of Season 4, where the energy from Etheria is being siphoned, with Light Hope nearly powering up the weapon, the whole scene is so intense with them being pulled out of Despondos, and that final, Do it from Light Hope, showing she truly isn't just a program, then Adora breaking the sword, it's the best way they could have ended the season. Although the part that always makes me cry is when Light Hope utters her last words Thank you, before pixilating away.
This episode is my favourite, although there are some that rival it, in season 5.

Moments that needed to be on the list:
-Adora breaks the sword (S04E13)
-The whole damn save the cat episode! (S05E05)
-the whole Catra character build and then redemption ark (S01-S05)
-Glimmer making a dragon ball move on her dad (S05E13) as honorable mention
-Adora/She-Ra making an Avatar move on Horde Prime/Hordak (S05E13) as honorable mention
-Swift wind imitating Shadow Weaver (S05E04)
-NEW SHE-RA FORM (S05E05) i guess its included in the save the cat but deserves a separate mention.
I can keep going forever.

Honestly with this show I didn't know what to expect because I honestly was a kid who liked she ra and the princess of power as a kid but when I started this show I don't know it was just something different the show was great and gave She Ra literal flaws and not make her someone who was just a god mode they gave her flaws and actually made characters who were amazing and awesome and well thought out this show was honestly charming

The part where Mermista, Perfuma, Frosta, Nettossa, Spinerella, and Seahawk come out and help Bow, Glimmer, and Adora/She-ra have a final battle on Bright Moon makes me relate to The part towards the end of
Marvel's Avengers Endgame where Spiderman, Black Panther ( R. I. P) and the rest of the MCU heroes come out and help Thor, Hulk, and Captain America to fight off Thanos and his goons.

I'll have you know the last time Angela ever saw her daughter was when she was trying to prevent her from going to the Fright Zone, and Glimmer disobeyed her. The last glimpse of Glimmer Angela got before she died was Glimmer's stubborn and defiant face as she disappeared in a whirl of purple magic. I'll let that sink in for a moment.

I've just finished watching She-Ra for the first time. And it's now one of my favourite animated shows ever. That entire final episode - but especially Catradora's kiss alone - has to be one of the greatest and most beautiful moments in the history of animation.
reply

why is ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WASTE not here.
I don't have much time. I barely made it out. If you are seeing this, it means you wield the Sword. You are the new She-Ra. It means I failed. I was supposed to be the last. And I am so, so sorry.

reply

I cant believe they didnt include the moment when Adora breaks free on beast island saying she wont give up or when she stops the cavern exit from collapsing and says Im not leaving anyone behind they were both so amazing
reply

A good show with such strong characters and great representation. This quickly became one of my favourites and I think its right up there with ATLA. I too cried along with Catra and Adora at Shadow weavers sacrifice.
reply

Save the cat should have been on this list, the whole episode is just chefs kiss and shadow weaver is definitely not a hero or redeemed. She was abusive, manipulative, incredibly toxic and a horrible person.
reply

Great list! Adora saving Catra should be in here though, up there in the top 3, along with Adora breaking the sword. The Glimbow & Seamista love confessions are at least honorable mentions worthy too! xx
reply

I think its ok for people to like the old she ra more but to say the old ones animation is better than the new ones is kinda bull like the new ones so smooth the old ones is good but its kinda sloppy
reply

Im pretty sure if SheRa is in a movie, it will include characters from the new Masters of the Universe Universe reboot. It would make sense for SheRa to want to know what planet she came from or her family
reply

important question: what is your favorite hey Adora?
mine is the one from Save the cat (so sweet, cute and emotional) and the demonic one from the season 3 finale (creepy but cool)

reply

I would, quite literally, give my right arm to either get a season 6 or an entire She-Ra movie. Maybe showing Catradoras baby, Finn. And their journey to return magic to the universe.
reply

This is my favorite show of all time. I don't get emotional, and I don't cry. But that kiss at the end makes me tear up every time. It's the best climax to any series I have ever seen.
reply

Don't mind me, just crying again.
This is too beautiful. I love this series. Not only Catradora, but also all the other characters, their arcs, subplots. It is amazing.

reply

Shadow Weaver's redemption arc is on par with Catra's WHAT? Shadow Weaver simply switches sides when convenient for her and remains an abusive, manipulative asshole.
reply

I am a straight guy watching this top 10 after watching the series. Not only is the show great for representation, it's also just a damn good show all around.
reply

Seamista confession made me tear up, Glimbow confession made me sob, Catradora confession killed me, Entrapdak hug dug me up and tore my heart out
reply

I have been wanting a she-ra movie ever since I finished season 5 and more then anything I want to see Catras first introduction to BrightMoon.
reply

Probably the saddest moment for me was when shadow weaver died. Her last conversation with catra right before she was killed had me BAWLING
reply

- Madame Razz delivers her pie with a For you, Mara dearest. T_T
- Double Trouble confronts Catra.
- Scorpia's You're a bad friend.

reply

if they do make a she-ra movie, they better have he-man in it, and i don't care if catra kisses Adora right in front of him too
reply

adora looks like janet varney and catra: seychelle gabriel while the last episode looks like the spirit world in legend of korra
