Hans being the villain really should've been done differently. I think he should've been sincere right up until he kissed Anna--and it didn't work. At that point, he should have realized that what they had wasn't love, but hormones in Anna's case and simple ambition in his own case. He should then have decided that there was no saving Anna, and that the best chance Arendelle had of restoring the summer was to kill the source of the snowstorm--Elsa. Then he would realize that if he did that, there would be no going back. He would have to make it look like it was not only necessary, but warranted. And that would mean abandoning Anna to her fate. And as a bonus, he would get that promotion to monarch he'd been seeking through a marriage to one of the heirs of Arendelle. So he wouldn't start the film a villain, but he would end it as one. We would get to see him make his choice, and he would make the wrong one.

Hernesto was a psychopath obssessed with becoming famous but wasn't talented enough to write his own original song like hector was hence why he secretly poisoned him, stealing his songs and passing them off as his own so he'd be famous while he was alive even when he's dead, but when miguel and hector found out the truth he doesn't hesitate to silence them, even throwing miguel to his death to keep his fame, but unlucky for him miguel's tight-knit family saved him and were clever enough to broadcast his confession allowing everyone to know the truth and when miguel eventually returned to the land of the living he revealed the truth there as well, so by the end of the film ernesto de la cruze went from being the most loved musician to the most hated for both the living and the dead.

For frozen hans really was a manipulative villan, he used anna naivety and being isolated in the castle for so long in an attempt to take arrendelles throne by murdering elsa framing it to be an accident and marrying anna so he could be king since being the youngest of his 12 older brothers there was no chance of him ever inheriting the throne espcially if the other siblings had children, it be too much bloodshed if he tried to kill them and people might catch on that he's the one behind the murders, hence his attempt to steal arrendells throne anna freezing to death was just a bonus since he pretended that they got married before she 'died' becoming arrendells 'last hope'.

When they mention bruno it seriously annoys me how everyone was so prejudice they were to bruno and his gift, and how narrow minded they were, they didn't understand that bruno is a seerer that only sees a POSSIBLE furture he doesn't make them happen, and the people that see have the power to change it if they tried, but no they just assumed that anything negative they see in the vision they blame bruno for making it bad, really ticks me off, honestly if they should be mad at anyone it should be pepa since her gift cause actual damaged to the town and possibly hurt people with how unstable it is when she's stressed out.

The only movie on this list I haven't seen was Atlantis: the Lost Empire. But, I do remember being thoroughly shocked by all the revelations except for the one in Encanto. Finding the real cause of the candle going out was more shocking to me than seeing Bruno's actual personality. I had a feeling he was misunderstood because it's not like he chose what would actually happen in the future. He was just able to see the future

The reveal of Prince Hans being evil was probably the biggest shock of my entire life. Frozen has actually taught me an important lesson of being careful about who you trust. Now whenever Im watching an intense movie or whenever my family and I are watching a tv show during dinner, I always act suspicious about every character. That might seem over the top a little, but like I said, Ive learned a very good lesson.

The top Shocking Reveals in Disney Movies that I recognize are CDA 001 from Monsters Inc, The Real Villain from Zootopia, TE KA's Secret from Moana, What happened to Koda's Mother from Brother Bear, A Prospector sabotage from Toy Story 2, Not so true Love from Frozen, Screenslaver identity from Incredibles 2, The Surprise Haircut from Tangled, Zurg's Indentity from Lightyear and Bruno's Actually. NICE? Encanto

Hector was murdered by Ernesto. That betrayal and murder ruined Hector's good name and terrible misunderstanding, stole his songs and robbing Hector's family of generations of music. Glad Hector Miguel and the family were able to expose him at the end. Hector finally got the recognition he deserve. The irony is that if the family didn't banned music, they would have found out the truth a long time ago.

Congratulations to Coco! Hectors death reveal was the shocking of them all! Heres some more shocking reveals in Disney movies.

Brother Bear holds a special place in my heart for being the first movie to have a reveal that truly stunned me.
I was 6 going on 7 years old when I saw Brother Bear in theaters, and by God that reveal absolutely floored me, like actually made me gasp. Had I been an adult I probably would've thought/said, Oh shit!

Ya know goob is right to some degree since lewis never really cosidered how his all nighters inventing would cause goob to be sleep deprived to the point he sleeps while he standing, at least nearing the end he used what he learned to prevent goob from growing up to be a bad guy trying to ruin the future.

I still remember as a young teen going to the movies with my family (plus some extended family that came to visit) to watch Frozen. When the Hans betrayal scene came on, it wasn't just us, but almost the entire theater gasping in shock. It was quite a moment to say the least
reply

Coco had so many plot twists, I could barely keep up. First: Hector wrote the songs that Ernesto sings. Second: Ernesto POISONED Hector. Third: Hector is Miguel's actual great-great grandfather
But that movie was my whole childhood and I love it so much

reply

Te Ka was so well done and the song from that scene still gives me chills.
I feel like Elsa's sarcasm kind of foreshadows Hans, but you miss it on the first watch.
I think Hector being the grandfather was also a shock to me, but I do not really remember now.

Everything on this list left me flabbergasted, but there are three other reveals that made my jaw drop.
1. Screenslaver's identity (Incredibles 2)
2. Sugar Plum's betrayal (The Nutcracker & The Four Realms)
3. Zurg's identity (Lightyear)

reply

hans bellweather and clayton from tarzan are the most shocked moment alongside lotso but still gets me though for backstabbing bad guy you really want to give gothel in tangled a loophole for the magical hair I wouldn't not the same for a villain
reply

The shocking thing for Hans' reveal, wasn't Hans himself. It was the fact that a Disney princess was literally left to her death. THAT couldn't have been expected for a Disney movie, especially for a Disney Princess
reply

All of these were very shocking the first time I saw them for sure. Id say that the top two on this list are probably the top two for me as well. Both of them were such punches in the face and completely shocked me
reply

Charles Muntz fron Up really surprised me the most when it was revealed that he killed people who were trying to get into his way from finding Kevin in Paradise Falls, including a threat to Carl abd Russell.
reply

For me, the biggest twist in a Disney film was in Pirates of the Caribbean when Jack is fighting Barboda and is stabbed but is holding one of the coins with the curse so he couldn't die. I wasnt expecting it.
reply

I can think of two shocking reveals that should've been mentioned. King Runeard having killed the Northuldra leader in Frozen 2. Robert Callaghan being the villain Yokai in Big Hero 6.
reply

Im surprised Charles Muntz from Up didnt even get an honorable mention! He was so welcoming until Carl and Russell pointed out Kevin. Then his true colors came out pretty much instantly!
reply

Maybe the reason why theyve been doing twist villains mkvgh be as a little cautionary tale about being careful who you trust because you never know if they could be good or bad
reply

Zurg reveal shocked me but also confused me because Zurg is supposed Buzz's father in Toy Story 2 and not Buzz from the future. Hans has always been one of my favorite Villains
reply

For zootpia, honestly that pen should be used by the police since it does such a brilliant job recording arrogent criminals confessions espcially when it has such clear audio.
reply

Its kind of hinted at that Bellwether is the main villain when shes cleaning her desk if you look quickly you can catch her Underling Dougs phone number on a post it note.
reply

I found the King Candy reveal an impressive twist. I noticed Vanellope on the side of the game cabinet and knew something wasn't right, but his actual identity surprised me.
reply

The prince in the legend and Mor'du are one and the same in Brave. and when Stitch is trying to find his family in Lilo and Stitch and Jumba tells him that he created him.
reply

I didn't fully understand Kenai killing Koda's mother when I was little, but re-watching the movie as an adult shocked me. Brother Bear is a whole emotional roller coaster
reply

Earlier in Coco when Hector claimed he taught Ernesto everything he knew about music, who would've thought he was actually telling the literal truth there!
