No one can top Grace Kelly. Diana's I never liked very much. Yes, it was showy but it did not enhance her looks, it overpowered them. It worked well on her young bridesmaids who wore a similar style but not on her. She was too tall for that. she wore a lot of beautiful gowns at many events, but her wedding gown fell short for me. Diana looked best in the sheath style gowns. I loved Jackie's too and Carolyn her daughter inlaw had the perfect slip gown. That style was very poplar going into the mid/late 90's. My guess that is why Cindy Crawford wore a shorter version. That style was in at the time. As far as Kate's, it copied Grace Kelly's too much, the top I hated how they did the bodice with that boning around her boobs. I did like Celine Dion's, but that headdress was over the top. If it had been more of a crystal head band than a crystal 1950's look swimming cap it would have looked so much better.

Ciara, her dress fit the location perfectly, she looked lovely. Jackie O looked gorgeous on her day, Im sorry she didnt like it. Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, her dress was perfect for the wedding she planned. Kim Kardashians dress on the cover of Vogue was way better than the one she wore to marry Kanye. Princess Diana, she looked like a princess on her day. It wasnt for me but it was perfect. Of all dresses, Miranda Kerr looked the best. Her gown was beautiful. My least fave of all was Kate Middleton. Hers was an absolute disappointment. Her headpiece looked jumbled on her head. Her dress just looked blahlike a random gown from Davids Bridal. Her sister, Pippa, stole the show. She looked stunning. She knew the assignment and dressed for the occasion.

Never really cared for Diana's wedding dress, too puffy for my taste, plus it overshadowed the bride. She more than made up for it with her choices for ball gowns, stunning. Kate's dress was absolutely gorgeous, she wore the dress it didn't wear her, unlike Meg's dress. Hate to say it, but it looked like she picked it right off a Walmart rack, ill fitting and frumpy.

I would put Princess Diana's dress at the 20th place (sorry but, to me the dress wore her more than she wore the dress; this dress was way too big for her! This being said, Diana did not create the dress, and to the credit of this dress, it launched a trend in wedding dresses that would last until way into the 1990s) and Kate Middleton's dress in second place.

I will never understand the frenzy over Caroline Kennedy's wedding dress. That was the most blah, plain, boring, underwhelming wedding gowns I've ever seen. It looked like she tore down the window drapes & threw them over herself. With all that money, THAT is what she chose? Ugh!
Duchess Kate, on the other hand. one of the best of all time.

Elizabeth Taylor's gown was gorgeous, hers and Grace Kelly's are my favorites. My next favorite was Carloyn Kennedy's simple satin gown. Portia Rossi's gown was lovely too. My favorite by far was Kate Middleton! Not only was she ABSOLUTELY naturally beautiful but her gown was definitely a reflection of her. it was very elegant not overdone & simply timeless & beautifully reflected her beauty

Dianas dress doesnt deserve the 2nd place. While all the other entries were elegant and timelessly beautiful, her dress was the definition of the 80s. Horrible puffy and just too much.
