This should be titled female celebrities. Not that I disagree with the content. Except: Yoko deserves whatever she got over the years. I present as evidence: the performance John Lennon did with Chuck Berry where she did everything she could do draw attention away from them to herself. Ugh that shrill shrieking thing she did was so horrific and annoying Chuck made the producers turn off her mic. Ugh it makes me want to vomit in disgust just thinking about it. Im not a believer but, God damn Yoko Ono to Hell. All the way to Hell.

Love him or hate him, but you have to admit that Donald Trump as president was the most mistreated president of modern time. Never has a president been so SYSTEMATICALLY misquoted, smeared, mistreated and denigrated by the main stream press. I know this because I have seen it happen time after time where the press says one thing but when I went to find the actual source I found it to be absolutely untrue. You may not like the guy or his policies but there is no way you can ignore how badly he was treated.

There aren't enough views of this video. Another extremely tragic outcome of relentless media is Karen Carpenter. She was put down in the tabloids for having a few extra pounds and she became anorexic as a result. With her fame bringing that disease to society's attention as the first famous person diagnosed she was highly criticized for it. Then AFTER she had been largely recovered for 3 years, she ends up dying when her heart failed because of the extreme damage anorexia did to her body

The fact that we as fans are part of the problem gives me a love/hate relationship with the media. Of course, family jealousy, money, addiction, paparazzi are the main issue, but knowing we fuel some of these fires is heartbreaking. Young child/teenage actors have so much coming at the, from a young age, and all we do is research them on tabloid websites, stalk their platforms, and some super fans even attack them physically. Hollywood is dangerous.

Its so damaging and sickening these women had to deal with this from a mainly male dominated media sources. The women on this list that are still alive deserve to now have the piece and flowers they werent given while their lives & downfalls were used for entertainment purposes.

The lesson learned from all of this is that, we as the public must take accountability for how we treat women in media. Especially women of color. News outlets always have been very disrespectful towards women of color as seen here. Even though mostly white women are being seen here, it doesn't matter to the media. In the end, it was the women who got mistreated by the media.

I want to add Paula Yates she was a British tv presenter back in the 80s and early 90s and writer. When she had that nasty divorce with her husband Bob Geldof the media took his side over her by slamming her with misogynistic ways about her. Paula Yates is now dead one reason why she is dead is because of the media bullied her.

Sorry but, except for a few exceptions, a lot of these stars made every detail of their lives public. You cant put your entire life on display and then play victim when you receive backlash. The ones that I truly feel sorry for were those with mental illness, receiver of racism and hunted by the paparazzi.

I don't feel badly for Meghan Markle. I don't believe anything she claims especially when half of what she said in that interview was disputed and she lied about something as mundane as her sister's last name. Why would she do that? It makes everything she said questionable.

Honestly, it irks me to see Meghan Markle so high on the list - actually, I wouldn't have put her on at all. There's a lot o manipulation and hypocrisy on her side, which shines a bad light on so many important issues that she seems to take advantage of.
