Somewhat agree with the list of the Top 10 ranked Friends seasons premiere episodes. Modifications I would make is moving The One Where Monica Gets A Roommate (aka Pilot) lower down the list, move The One With Monica's Thunder higher on the list, move the The One After Ross Says Rachel to #1, move The One After Vegas to #2, and move The One With The Jellyfish down to #3. The One With Monica's Thunder is one of the more underrated episodes and season premieres in the entire Friends series, IMO. That season 7 opener lays out the foundation of the character relationships in the series after Chandler and Monica get engaged. The season 9 & season 10 premieres episodes were definitely my LEAST favorite since it involved that contrived, ill-conceived, and forced Joey & Rachel romance plotline.

Seriously, MsMojo. how did you rank this? by the popularity, by the punchline jokes, by the ratings or by the storytelling of the episode? Coz season 9 was the funniest opener IMO. regardless if you're not a fan of Joey/Rachel. Ross and Phoebe's interactions alone in the hospital was really the funniest.

My favorite premieres are season 7 and season 5. Monica's Thunder should have been much higher! Plus. I'm sorry. the SERIES premiere in comparison should have been much lower because by season 2, the show, and thus EVERY premiere after that was an event in and of itself

I've just realised that almost every season, apart from the second and sixth, ends in a Ross and Rachel induced cliffhanger. Their plots were certainly ripe for drama!
