I can't get through number 8 without cracking up. Izzie just got so whiny that if I relied on an LVAD wire, I'd cut it myself (too soon.
And GROSS! Pick me. Choose me. Love me. made TOP of the list? But why? It's so anti-feminist and I think even Ellen Pompeo cringes at that, not because it was her own performance, but the sheer dependency on a man she barely knows--a MARRIED man she barely knows! Luckily, Meredith has proven to herself that she didn't need Derek, even before he died. She didn't need him, but she still CHOSE to stay with him, because she loves him and he's the father to her kids.

I guess it doesn't really fit the theme of most of these speeches, but my favorite is when Meredith is talking to the interns about how they should approach someone after their loved one has died. The pain in her voice of having just been the wife to widow. The look on Owen's face behind her. And the resounding truth of her words: That person isn't an inconvenience. They're not a box to be checked off.
That, and when Arizona snaps at that doctor for complaining about not replacing the head of Neuro after Derek died.

I gave up on Grey's when they killed George but kept Izzy. The best speech, and there were so many good ones, was George explaining to Miranda Bailey why she had to deliver her baby. Although it is so close to Christine begging Chief to teacher her how he can do it without letting the emotions touch him. She will confess to everything if he will just teach her that. Christine talking to Meredith as she is on the verge of death, telling her she has to live because she is Christine's person

I love the speech (vow) Alex said to Izzy. Even though it wasnt really his, it was a graduation speech from a girl who was the only survivor in an accident &she lost all her friends &Alex asked her to perform it to him. But I still liked how he delivered it and incorporated it to his vows. Dont even get me started on Lexis speech to Mark. I cry from both until this day!

I dont know if Im the only one but I didnt like Izzys speech to Denny. She was trying to make a decision that wasnt hers to make. She wasnt anything to him except his doctor and she was trying to make him feel bad about wanting to die with dignity in his own way. She should have let him make his own decisions without getting herself involved

Lexies I love you speech to Mark will always have a special place in my heart. After the plane crash the show went downhill (or I personally just didnt like it as much, or at all by now) Lexie was my favourite character by far, she was the best and so is her speech.

Nothing can top the I love you speech from Lexie to mark it's the best speech in the whole gray's anattomy series it breaks my heart every time I see it it's just to pure for this world, the way they love each other but they didn't have their happy ending, that DESTROYED ME.

I would add Meredith, Lexie and her dad around his liver transplant. Where she told him she doesnt know what its like to have a dad, but she knows what its like to have a sister and its good. Also Derek pointing out to Richard how he acts like Merediths dad.

This is the least correct list Ive ever heard. For starters, all the top 10 should be from Dr. Webber, with his speech to the interns on there and what he said to Gary Clark should be number 1. Baileys rules to the interns should also be an honorable mention.

Why don't you just rename this as 'in Season 1-11 of Grey's Anatomy? There are good speeches after that. (I like Maggie's 'This is Gallictica' even though it's comical and Meredith schooling the interns on how to let someone know their loved one is dead.

Been binging Grey's Anatomy for the past few weeks. I'm at mid way of Season 10 now, and I just wanna say that as much as I love the show, it's definitely dropped in few years. Especially considering on the drastic change in the cast.
