For a very long time I was convinced the murderer or at least one of them was Olivers son. Because in mysteries we rarely are given insignificant information so they wouldnt just mention like that that his son is a vet. Also being a vet means he knows exactly how much poison a person or a cat needs in order to die or not to die in Winnies case. He gave her as much as to not truly hurt her and only scare her father. I was certain he was not involved in Zoes falling, but he had to have something in common with Kono. Also the fact he was the same age as Mabel and the gang and Mabel not for once met him through the entire show. Its a far stretch now, but for some time I was convinced that it could be the case.

AWESOME, STUNNING, SPECTACULAR, AMAZING! I FRIGGIN LOVED THIS SHOW AND IDK IF IVE SEEN A BETTER TRIO. THEYRE PERFECT TOGETHER. SEASON 2 CANT COME FAST ENOUGH. there's is just 1 thing. 1 tiny little thing that doesn't thwart me from watching AT ALL. even with this 100%RT tomatoes show I have 1 question. why does a younger Tim look way more Asian than his adult self. I couldn't even tell when he stepped in the elevator, but then as a child you def could. a little inconsistent but not enough to make me not love the show. I just thought they could've made adult Tim match his younger self a littler more. its not like when someone gets older, they lose their ethnicity. do they?

So Tim Kono was a dick? He betrayed someone who was like a brother for 10 years, the weak explanation is that he was afraid for himself and Mable. But if he was afraid then he wouldn't live in the same building with the one he was afraid of for 10 years and ignore Mable the person he was supposedly protecting for most of that time especially when she moved back. The reason should be that he cared for someone else even more than the person he thought of as his brother. He was getting the green ring to protect that person. Or he was a dick. I guess I don't want him to have been a dick.

What really bugged me is that Tim had lived in the building since he was a child and no one really knew him? They all complained about the guy that had asthma and they couldnt light their fireplaces but he had lived there for at least 18 years. Was the asthma thing a new thing or are they still fed up about something that happened years ago? I need more information. Also he was living there as a child, was living in the same apartment he grew up in and his family lived in Korea? I need more information on that too.

This is a decent show, a nicve twist on many of the other dramas that are out, but I noticed way too much use of profanity, almost like the writers are purposely adding swears just for the sake of adding them. On a side note, I am getting tired of all the dramas though that we have been seeing the last decade. There seemed to be waaaay to many dramas coming out, and all of them remind me of the same thing. This show is somewhat comedic, but it is mostly a drama. I miss laughing!

Many of these have logic answers, but Winnie's poisoning is probably Jan as a way to confound or misdirect as she hadn't planned on the death of Evelyn in the beginning so used it to her advantage. We know (though does she) that Putnam never locks his door. . But why is it no one asks the real question. If Jan is (okay was) the killer, why the sign outside her door before she (as we learn) stabs herself? If it's a red herring it's a really sloppy one.

There's another killer but that killer is not hostile to the trio. He or she threatened Jan because he/she knows Jan killed Tim Kono. and planning to hurt the trio too. Maybe it's Tina Fey because she foresaw title Murderers in the building way back in early episodes. or it can be Mabel boyfriend. or Putnam son. those are my 3 suspecs for now.

I figured out it was Jan from the credits but not from the Easter eggs (which are really cool, how did I miss that. I figured it was her because she was listed in the credits every episode even when she wasn't heavily featured in an episode. They only list 5 people for the show and she was always the last name.

They skipped the part though where in the first episode we see Oiliver turn his fireplace on when he walks into his apt. And when we first meet Charles he says no one in Manhattan ever found 19 bodies in the backyard of a 14 story building. That's foreshadowing, IMO, bc the Arconia is a 14 story building

I think Olivers son Will is suspicious. He is a vet, so he would know how to poison Winnie but not kill her. He also showed up really quickly after she was poisoned, when its seen he lives in the suburbs. And he isnt on good terms with his dad, so why would he show up so quickly to heal the dog?

What I didnt get, who called the police in advance on the scene of 2 nd murder. Bunny just died and police barge in right on time which means they started driving towards building while bunny was not even dead yet as Selena discovers her walking around her apartment before she succumbs to her injury

When Bunny asked the Arconia residents in Tim Kono's memorial to share some kind words, most said they hated him, but there was a guy sitting in front who seemed he wanted to say something but stayed silent ultimately. The camera did linger on him a bit as well. Did anyone else catch that?

If you're a fan of The office U. S there is a big one. In the office Amy Ryan plays Michael Scott's girlfriend, later wife Holly. However in this show her character is named after Michael Scott's ex Jan, who in an episode referred to herself as the devil

There were two pieces of foreshadowing very early on (but wouldnt have told you who the killer was. Jan is the only recurring resident not seen at Tims funeral. Also, Jans first scene gives serial killer vibes on rewatch lol.

So nobody is gonna talk about how the stunt double knew the woman was the killer the whole time and didn't say anything? Oh because the stunt double is the one that sent the text too btw

I was convinced it was Oscar's dad (the super of the building. I figured he poisoned Tim Kono, and then Oscar shot him after he was already dead out of anger for letting him go to prison.

Another cool thing in the opening credits is that at 8: 34 you can see that everyone in the windows is going down the stairs but one is going up, which is like a reference to tye-dye guy

Pretty sure it was established the engagement ring is part of Tim's investation of Angel. There is no reason to go on believing it meant another lover once you've reached the end of S1.

I just kind of assumed it was Jan who poisoned the dog. But she only used just enough to make it sick. She was known to be a poisoner so it's kind of obvious to me that she did it.

Selena Gomez should have won for best producer and best actress, along with the best show of the year. Hulu need more good shows like Only Murders In The Building with Selena in it.

Did nobody think that winnie was poisoned because he ate evelyn's leg who was poisoned by kono's blood.
This is why he had a bone beside him while he was lying there poisoned.

I thought the person who poisoned Winnie the dog was the building lady (dead in the hoodie at the end) who always threatened Martin Short's character. She hated him.

I can watch this show without having to fast forward through multiple scenes or being embarrassed due to soft core porn. So sick of the unnecessary content in good shows

At the beginning of episode 6, it was mentioned that the detective has a twin sister, is this foreshadowing something? Is she the only one who has a twin?
