I was once living on the service road of a very busy highway which had a park and lake that ran under it. A couple houses down there was a guard rail with a small lake right on the other side that was level with the
highway and there was always this one swan that was swimming around in it. Anyway one day I'm walking to the store in the pouring rain and noticed she wasn't in the lake then I look up and see her prancing and waddling down the highway like she owned the place
I'm a huge animal lover so I freaked out and called 911 cause I was afraid for her so I panicked. I didn't know what to do.
The dispatcher was a really nice guy and he seemed super concerned as well for her and me. As I spoke with him I slowly walked out onto the highway putting my hands up to try and stop the cars and wave them outta the way so they wouldn't hit her. The traffic was really not that bad I was very careful. Once I got close to her I kinda got behind her at a distance of a few feet and sorta shooed her /guide her back to the service road and kinda directed her to jump the guard rail and she did and I was able to get her back to the safety of her lake all while on the phone with 911 she wasn't aggressive at all but I was still very careful. I kept apologizing to the dispatcher for wasting his time and possibly taking time away from someone that really needed emergency/police services. He assured me it was ok and I did the right thing by calling cuz someone could have gotten hurt in an accident trying to avoid hitting her and I didn't want that. Not only that I would've lost it had she gotten hurt or hit. I was concerned she may be sick n that's why she was in the street in the pouring rain. All ended well she was fine and I continued to see her almost on a daily basis. I fed her and talked to her. She was so sweet and seemed grateful to me that I helped her. She was happy I was happy. We had an understanding Im not patting myself on the back and claiming to be a hero but then agti kinda am. LoL

These animals are only dangerous when humans seek them out, carelessly invade their habitat, and yes the ocean is their habitat but let's kill all the sharks so we don't have to worry about wading and surfing I have been around bears many times, they do not see humans as food, they do see humans as threats. As they should.

forgetting baby sharks or crocs they'll eat anything any animal can be territorial or protective of they're offspring so always be on a lookout especially with lions foxes they maybe start off cute then they're predatorial instincts kick in then not so much after that then

But Grizzly Bear Cubs are the cutest! Same with Baby Elephants! They are super playful!

I did not know swans were dangerous, but then again, ducks and geese have been know to hiss at you if you get too close to them or their nest. So I guess swans are no exception.
