I didn't start watching Saturday Night Live semi-regularly till the middle of the 2016-17 season starting with the Kristen Stewart/Alessia Cara episode. I knew Sarah Silverman & Chris Rock were cast members. Some of the actors listed I've heard of but didn't know were on SNL. Others I've just found out via IMDB and Wikipedia.

Martin short shouldnt be on this list. SNL was suffering big time. To avoid a big drop off after Eddies departure, NBC went all out and recruited seasoned comedians instead of up and comers. Short was a part of the all star season which included billy crystal, Christopher guest, and rich hall.

I never knew how Robert Downey was an excellent Artist genius. Not only being a great actor and a Sketch comedian. He is outstanding singer and musician. I always thought Robert Downey was also going have a recording career. His singing is extremely good.

Take off Chris Rock, Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad and replace them with Janeane Garofalo, Michael McKean, Brian Doyle-Murray, Christine Ebersole, Jim Belushi, Gilbert Gottfried, Rob Riggle, Anthony Michael Hall and Randy Quaid.

I'm very glad that SNL helped Donald Glover be himself & having fun again. My favorite moments from SNL tho have to be with Michael Che & Colin Jost, their jokes are top notch.
