Such shows are designed to revise and erase the historical horrors of British Colonialism and to continue propagating the Victorian British Fantasy world. Indians romancing white guys in Colonial Britain. Yeah right. non white people were sub human in colonial Britain. This becomes all the more egregious because the British monarchy still has not said sorry for Colonialism unlike the Germans have for the holocaust. Also the British dont teach their colonial past in schools.

Anthony and Kate always prioritise for their families they r probs the most selfless characters and they also had to be selfless with each other knowing their families wouldnt be happy but Im so glad that In then end they finally chose there own happiness over anyone else and others were okay with it they knew how hard these 2 work to keep everyone happy and if being together obviously makes them happy so be it

I just love Kanthony! Season 2 was a departure from the book, but still incredibly enjoyable. One of my favorite scenes was when Violet tells Anthony that Kate had awakened. His emotional reaction was swoon worthy.

It was a good season. Who I HATE is Penelope. She's really annoying and looks like a dwarf and Eloise. Eloise is a horrible actor and her mannerisms are just awful. Could they be killed off?
