Here's a weird thing, back in the 80's I saw the band RATT on Star Search. I told my little brother, they're good but they'll never go anywhere with a name like rat.
Then they won the show.
Now there's no mention of them ever being on Star Search much less them winning the show. I recently asked my little brother if he remembered me saying that and he said Yes, I remember.
And now the category they were in isn't even listed on the Wikipedia page. Mandela Effect? Who knows, but I know what I saw, and so does my brother.

As for your request, you forgot Usher, Adam Sandler, Tiffany, Dave Chappelle, Sinbad, Martin Lawrence, Ray Romano, and Rosie O'Donnell, among others. At LEAST five of those are more famous than some of the people you mentioned. and I have actually heard of every single one of them.
In other words, you did a terrible job researching this video. I have registered my Dislike above.

I appreciate the content, but the narration and pacing on these videos bores the hell outta me. I get that the commentary is justifying the ranking, and they make more money from time spent watching the video, but personally, I'd rather just have the curated series of clips with no narration. I'd watch more videos, more often that way. Just my ADHD two cents.

You spent too much time on their later careers and only showed a blip of their Star Search performances. It should have been the other way around. We don't need to hear about their later careers, etc. so much. I think this should be redone to showcase more of their Star Search performance, that was the only interesting part.

Am I imaging things or is Beyonce's appearance a lot different now than then? Her skin tone looks rather golden now and darker then. Does that happen naturally? Maybe. I think melanin production can decrease with age. Seems to have happened to me as well. But what about her nose? Did Bey-Bey get a nose job?

Sinbad (the comedian) has been completely over looked. While he never became a superstar, he's had a long career in movies and TV. I met him the year he was on Star Search while he was touring (the finale hadn't aired yet. He was as hilarious off stage as on it.

Someone worth mentioning is Clint Black who defeated LeAnn Rimes on Star Search. During their competition the horn player who was playing LeAnns song could not hit the higher note so it sounded like LeAnn was off key and Clint won that round.

now I remember why I disliked that show so much. only people on your list who have the talent to make the list are Christine Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Beyonce and all the rest are hugely overrated.

You really should do a former kids show stars, who are super famous now. Look up Kids Incorporated, where you'll find the likes of Fergie, Britney Murphy, Mario Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewett, and several others.

I didn't forget. I never watched Star search because I just didn't care. but it's still kind of interesting that they made it on the bigger things. By watching it here we weed out the non talented people
