I adored Sweet November with Charlize Theron & Keanu Reeves. Also Dermot Mulroney & Amanda Peet in Griffin & Phoenix and also The Thing Called Love with Samantha Mathis, Dermot Mulroney, River Phoenix & Sandra Bullockone of my personal favs! But I guess 2 of them are considered dramas I think but it has funny moment & definately great love stories. Check them out if you haven't.

I'm here to help you with more ideas for y'all searching for movies from the year 2023 valentine's or whenever you see this. She's out of my league, fools rush in(Salma Hayek, loser (Jason Biggs, Benny & Joon( Johnny deep), Bronx tale, overboard new or old version, love & basketball

I love that you included Overnight Delivery and Sleeping With Other People. Jack and Sarah starring Richard E. Grant and Samantha Mathis (with great supporting performances by Ian McKellen and Judi Dench) is a precious film as well. I wish more people knew it.

The Paul Rudd and Reese Witherspoon movie that I think should be on the list is How Do You Know where their two characters meet at the lowest times in their lives, but fall in love anyway. Its a sweet Rom-Com with a lot of heart and hope.

I can't believe an NZ film made it. They never make the lists. I'm partial to 'She's out of my League'. It's funny, sweet and has a great cast. I don't like rom coms but She's out of my League is an exception. Also so is Ever After.

To me it's also Forces Of Nature with Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck, which flies surprisingly under the radar despite its A-list cast.
Also Leap Year with Amy Adams and Mathew Goode in Ireland, which is simply heartwarming.

Excellent choices! Heart and Souls doens't get NEARLY enough shout outs. It was a sweet story all around! Robert Downey Jr, Kydra Sedwick, Charles Grobin, Alfre Woodard, Tom Sizemore, and Elizabeth Shue. It was so good!

I've seen Populaire in the cinema, after my final French exam in high school. Really small screen room, and it was the two of us with my friend, almost felt like a private viewing, one of my best cinema experiences. :)

Many people know them but I often miss '27 dresses' and 'confessions of a shopaholic' in these lists. I love these movies because the romance is not over the top but very cute and there are many funny scenes! :)

Sleeping With Other People was great and had a greattt soundtrack! Also, Priceless is a French classic. And Austenland is one of my top guilty pleasures. JJ Field is irrestible in this role.
reply

I have seen Priceless and it was definitely good. It's a one time I watched a French film in the cinema. I should watch more foreign films in cinema but I need them to be as good as that.
reply

Sleeping with Other People is my such a fun movie! I highly recommend it. And I would like to add Two Night Stand (with Miles Teller) & Playing It Cool (with Chris Evans) to this list.
reply

I looked far and wide for PAPERBACK HERO with Hugh Jackman and actually found it on YT. I had to watch it in installments but it was a delightful movie. Thanks for the heads up.
reply

Paperback Hero is one of my favourite movies ever. Being Aussie, it's not surprising that I saw it before X-Men came out, and was able to be excited about 'that actor' playing Wolverine.

- Plus One (with one of the ladies from PEN15)
- Friends with Kids (2011)
- Palm Springs (with Andy Samberg)
And sooo many more! But those 3 are favorites of mine.

#5 Sleeping with other people is one of my favorite rom com!
What about Only you with RDJ and Marisa Tomei?
Also In your Eyes and How to be single are great

reply

What? Just Wright is epic! Not so much the dude. his acting is kinda flat, but Queen Latifah brings it like always. I thought it was big? People don't know love story's
reply

I think Overnight Delivery should be higher but mostly I would add Friends With Kids to the list. It has a great cast and will make you smile and have happy tears.
reply

I stumbled on Juliet, Naked by chance last year and absolutely loved it! there are a couple of movies on this list that I hadn't heard of, I'll watch them asap!
reply

reply

This is probably the only list where I actually didn't know any of these movies (except Imagine Me & You and Eagle vs. Shark) and I love it
reply

Playing by heart is one of my favorite movies and Angelina Jolie has never been more attractive in anything she did before or after: )
reply

Fun fact: Rose Byrne was VERY pregnant during the filming of Juliet, Naked. They did an amazing job disguising, filming and editing around it.
reply

OMG! As a huge Jane Austen fan, Austenland is one of my favorite movies! I tell people about it all the time! So goofy, & so cute!
reply

the fact that you opened with sleeping with other people. instant like (i need to rewatch it again asap, one of my all time faves)
reply

Since you included a French rom-com, try an Italian one: Manuale d'amore (2005, starring among others, Monica Bellucci.
reply

I think Admission is way underrated. It's got Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, and Lily Tomlin. Treat yourself to it, if you haven't.
