This entire video is why I love when animated movies take chances and risks to try out different styles. I really dont like the way every modern animated movie, especially here in America, just uses the same generic CGI style. So I really appreciate something a whole lot more when it's different from the norm. I love the new influential style of Spiderverse. The stop motion of Laika Studios. Cartoon Saloon's gorgeous hand drawn animation techniques. And the many amazing hand drawn movies from Japan like Studio Ghibli. I learned to not care or be bothered by the generic CGI products anymore. Especially when I know there many people, artists, and directors out there in the world that will always be passionate about the medium. We should pay attention to them more instead of big studios like Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks and Illumination.

I cannot believe how shallow this list is. There is so much animation in the world, being so much more experimental and fantastic than what you showed here, and of course, you picked Soul. What about The Girl Without Hands? What about Son of the White Mare? And Kirikou? Angel's Egg? And you did the most popular ones and did not think to include the Prince of Egypt, but of course, you mentioned Pocahontas? You're not better than the Academy in thinking of animation as a genre, not a medium

Personally I would add Paranorman, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, Azur and Asmar (its a French film and one of my all time favorites, and Kirikou and the Sorceress though honestly this list could probably be 50 and still miss out on some stunning movies theres just so many gorgeous animated movies out there major props to the people behind the scenes who make these movies possible

Coco's my favorite movie, I'm mesmerized every time I watch it and I swear I notice something new every time I watch it.
Honestly, this would be a hard list for me to make, I personally would have to add 5 Centimeters Per Second, it's such a simple and grounded story, but, it has some of the prettiest landscape shots I've seen in anime movie.

Coco's my favorite movie, I'm mesmerized every time I watch it and I swear I notice something new every time I watch it.
Honestly, this would be a hard list for me to make, I personally would have to add 5 Centimeters Per Second, it's such a simple and grounded story, but, it has some of the prettiest landscape shots I've seen in anime movie.

I'm being honest I was really disappointed not to see The Prince of Egypt I'm not religious but I find that movie as an absolute masterpiece of animation that I doubt we'll see anytime soon with such a well-written story and characters as well as animation and music that carries a powerful story it's so unique and just I don't even know the words

Wolf Children shouldve been on the list, but I can understand not wanting to have Wolfwalkers and Wolf Children as theyre both wolf based on the same list. Finally Wolfwalkers gets recognition it deserves.

Even if the Stories arent the best, the Frozen Movies look Beautiful (primarily Frozen 2. Its especially shown when they get creative with Ice and the way they add Colors to it.
Also, Coraline is so Creatively Animated, especially with the way they use Colors.

I'm so glad Cartoon Saloon made the list! They are so underrated! Song of the Sea is one of my favorite anime movies of all time! All of their films are made with so much effort, there is like be and care in every frame with the masterful art and animation.
