Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
These celebs deserve applause for shooting down homophobic interview questions. For this list, well be looking at celebs from the LGBTQ+ community and their allies who clapped back at inappropriate, invasive or offensive inquiries. Our countdown includes Madonna, Lady Gaga, Tom Hardy, and more! Which celeb interview question do YOU think was rightfully shut down?

In a greater struggle of the 1980's, where there was such a struggle between a very hardy right wing Republican/Conservative USA/UK, and the celebrities who pushed for the rights of LGBTQ+++ and others, it is apparent these struggles were very difficult and lengthy in time and some ended in death. So, I will put my list here:
1. Princess Diana, who helped all LGBTQ+++ peoples going into hospitals, clinics, and other Healthcare facilities to show the public AIDS was not an air borne pathogen. She also went through land mine territory to help many children and others, while being attacked by many homophobic, anti-peace movements, etc. She was calm and kept her calm. After the paparazzi incident in France and her death, the World reacted and even the Queen failed at first to recognize her contributions to global interests.
2. Madonna since coming to the stage in 1983 and being introduced by Bette Midler at Live Aid in Philadelphia has made uncalculated donations to a great many of minority charities, beyond all the negative media, interview scandals that tried to defamate her character while she faced a fierce battle against an uneducated Republican leadership, which did not know how to bridge We The People of the United States of America, as other minorities were still being left out and Madonna was donating to those charities as well!
3. Harvey Milk who was a gay man in California and also became the first elected official there endured many painful Republican slams from Anita Bryant of Florida, a Dade County (former celebrity) resident and friends with another California official, who later killed Harvy Milk.
This tragedy sent shockwaves throughout the LGBT community and made it even stronger!
Those are my opinion for the top three being in interviews that went way too far, even to the point of a lawsuit!
Thank You

If you don't like being around a serial killer. does that make you serial killer phobic? If you don't like pedophiles. does that make you a pedophile phobic? If you don't like satanic temple. does that make you a satanic temple phobic? If you don't like Nazis. does that make you nazi phobic? If you don't like child mutilation or psychological manipulation. does that make you transphobic? If you don't like the murdering of innocent life. does that mean I have abortion phobic or clone phobic or surrogate phobic? If I don't like sick lust. does that make me sick lust phobic? DO YOU KNOW WHAT A SOUL IS? DO YOU KNOW WHAT ETERNAL LIFE IS? HOW DO WE PROCREATE?

Guys, but it will be the straight people's mental and emotional health on the line if we force this down our throats. Think of it please. There will be more suicides from the straight people because of disgust, trauma and fear for our children. Please think of that. The lesser homo sapiens can stay gay or weird but don't force us to like them. We promise we'll still be respectful. If you guys were born with a sin or disease you can't change please don't drag our children down to hell with you. I know you have lesser comprehension and empathy but this world for humans is a brutal place. Leave us and let us go on with peace please.

Anderson Cooper should have known better.
I liked Johnny G. 's response: Why defend yourself against something that isn't offensive? That was very astute.
I liked Ricky Martin's explanation about the egg. That was good.
Lady Gaga handled her situation well.
Madonna was an early and frequent advocate and still is.
George Michael, like so many back then, was relentlessly harassed in the press. I'm glad he was finally able to just be himself.
It is shocking how many interviewers ask guests about their genitals. It's weird.

3: 48 With regards to Tom Hardy, the question was in response to, at the time, Hardy coming out and saying he had hooked up with men in the past (paraphrasing. The question, while poorly worded and its setting, was a valid (to a degree) question in regards to a topic that Hardy himself recently had brought up about himself.
Once people started asking him more questions about it, he'd give the response that MsMojo talked about.

Madonna is trash, i never thought one day i'd respect Lady Gaga and not her, yet here we are i haven't respected madonna in. more than 15 years. the trashiest her personality got, the more dignified lady gaga became as a human being. not long ago i was boycotting AHS for casting her in hotel but today i'm rooting for her to play alongside one of my favorite actors in the world, Joachim Phoenix

I want to make an announcement. Im straight and gay people dont gross me out! Not that that matters, but I thought somebody would like to know lol I find it as normal as breathing, or you know hetero relationships. I mean thats because it is but some people dont see it that way.
reply

daammnn, ricky martins analogy of the egg was phenomenal. ive never seen that before, because i normally dont care of genders, preferences or anything personal when it comes to celebrety. i just care about the work and art they do. but this was amazing! go rick!

3: 00 are you gay? what an offensive question? weird question maybe weird responce definetly. you don't feel comfortable having every detail of your life in the spotlight don't become a multi millionaire movie star
reply

Celebrities have always been asked about their relationships and love interests. why is it suddenly homophobic to ask someone gay about the same? Seems like just a rude way to avoid answering a simple question.
reply

Why are you telling us what the wonderful George Michael said when you are showing a video of him speaking while you have that volume so low we can barely make out his words. Let people speak for themselves.
reply

End of days and won't be trying to change Christian people minds you'll be one on one being judged by God. I see not one word about belief so no way these people are going to think there wrong. Depraved
reply

MsMojo work on your video editing. THe CNN inerview with George Michael had the volume turned WAY down and you didn't raise the volume on it before publishing. F- for you!
reply

I appreciate these people standing up for us, but where are they now? Not one has said a damn thing about the republicans trying to create a genocide of us Trans People.
reply

Trans should not be allowed to influence young children. I resent this and how do these people think regular people ever think they want kudos yo be around tjidb
reply

For the Tom Hardy question didn't he previously allude that he slept with men in the past in another interview so it was just a follow up or clarification
reply

That Gaga moment is so iconic. It was so casual you know she really feels that way. Barbra Walters was a cancer on interviews.
reply

Thank you Lavern for being so eloquently articulate and well spoken. This is trans representation that we deserve.
reply

Audio equalizer anyone? One minute can barely hear the interview, the next your eardrums get blasted by the narrator lol
reply

Lady Gaga in many instances has said if she has a penis that's her business. I honestly believe she dies have a penis.
reply

Can we please get back to judging people by their character and actions and not who they spend their private time?
reply

Interviewers know its not appropriate but its all about ratings and reactions and thats what these questions get.
reply

Awesome response Lady! I was rolling on the floor.
One thing fer sure you got more ballz than a lot of men!

reply
