The reality is that many of the actors and actresses from the golden era of movie musicals were triple and more threats just as much as those here. Sammy Davis Jr, Danny Kaye, James Cagney, Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, Betty Hutton, Audrey Hepburn, Leslie Caron and so many others that I feel guilty about not remembering their names or I would have put them here. The problem is we're only just getting back to doing more movie musicals after years of them not being a big thing. Plus type casting has always been an issue brought about both by the studios, casting directors and let's be honest, us as the audience and possibly even sometimes the actors themselves who do have multiple abilities but they're happiest sticking to a specific genre of film characters.

Oh boy, this list is just made to fail. You just covered the oldies and the newer talents. I am very happy to see Gene Kelly at #1!
But. how about Olivia Newton-John and with her of course John Travolta, Bette Midler, Treat Williams did an amazing job in Hair with the rest of that cast, Marilyn Monroe, Jewel. And there's so many more.
But the really sad part is that you don't even mention the biggest of them all. ok so the acting might not been on top for the most but he killed it in King Creole. Ever heard about Elvis Presley?
I understand that a top 20 of all time is going to miss a lot of artists. but FFS. how can you miss the King?

How can you ignore Liza Minnelli in this list? She was an absolute powerhouse on stage, singing & dancing on so many international tours and a record breaking 3 & a half weeks at Carnegie Hall. She has proven her comedic side in acting (Arrested Development, The Muppet Show, Arthur, her dramatic acting talent with her oscar winning performance in Cabaret, in New York, New York & Pookie, She won 2 Tony awards for epic stage musical performances, one of the few EGOT stars. There are some children on your list that are talented, but haven't achieved half. Shame on you

the list is fantastic, everybody deserved a maybe even better place. They are all remarkeable. BUT there are more great actors with so much talents, like jennifer hudson, beyonce, luke evans, jared leto, eminem, 50 cent, zac efron, julie andrews, david hasslehof, whitney houston, nicky minaj, idina menzel ) anna kendrick ) all wonderful people and unique. But u put Lady gaga on 3 so I am more than pleased with the list. :-D Everybody in this comments is right about all the people missed on this list, still a very good one.

I see nothing having to do with Chris Pine and his stint in Into The Woods and the glory that is Agony and star trek, or anything about Zac efron through high school musical or greatest showman. I am glad that zendaya is on here though thank you. And niel patrick Harris hes my idol. Hes an author, magician, and actor can he be any better?

I think Ms. Mojo needs to do an old school, a semi-old school and a current one of these. Super old school: Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Fred Astair, Shirley Temple, etc. Semi-old school: John Travolta, Olivia Newton John, Queen Latifah, Julie Andrews, etc. And then the current: Zendaya, Lady Gaga, Anne Hathaway, Zach Efron, etc.

I cannot believe you omitted Judy Garland! She started as a child and conquered every medium. She is a world renowned singer, amazing actress (A Star is Born and The Trial At Nuerenburg, dancing partner to both Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly and did stage, screen and television. Leaving her off the list is a major mistake.

Gene Kelly & Debbie Reynolds weren't the only 2 triple threat performers in Singin' in the Rain what about Donald O'Connor who played Cosmo? He's just as talented as Gene Kelly and his performance in 'Make 'em Laugh' was hilarious and memorable to say the least. Can't believe he wasn't on the list

Liza Minelli? Judy Garland? Julie Andrews? Any of these could have replaced Jamie Foxx, at least. He's not an amazing dancer, and you admitted that he didn't sing in Ray. I was stunned that Minelli and Garland didn't even get in the honourable mentions.

What about Julie Andrew's? Disagree with Lady Gaga, Ryan Gosling, etc who haven't had the discography or filmography yet to compete. In fact there are so many Broadway musical type stars that could have been on this list.

UmBette Midler? Come on, that woman is a force of talent unmatched on this planet!
And class acts like Judy Garland and Julie Andrews deserve spots on this list for sure. Time to make a Part 2 video.

what i always find interesting is historically you used to HAVE to be a triple threat to even be an actor or actress, but then times changed. it's nice that slowly triple threats are becoming a thing again

I am flabbergasted that you forgot Bette Middler! There are plenty of others who should have an honorable mention, like mentioned before, but how did Bette get snubbed all together?

You have got to be kidding putting JLo on this list! She can't act to save her life! You need to check your standards before you put her on this type of list! Just sad!

I have nothing against Zendaya, but she's still young. Greatest of all time? Really? I don't know who came up with this list but they were not very knowledgeable.

Glad to see you included many stars of yesteryear in this list. Too often these compilations seem to forget there was life before the current century!

Jamie Foxx can dance? I wouldn't exactly call his dancing threatening. He can act and sing. Maybe his third threat is something else like comedic writing.

Maybe not greatest, but definitely unexpected - Christopher Walken. He has a unique singing voice, and his dancing and acting is amazing!

So the first actual one is an successful actor, director, writer, singer and rapper. Not just an actor that was in a musical.

Surely Nicole Kidman? She has an Oscar, a chart-topping single, and Im sure youve seen Moulin Rouge, just to start with.
