10. We used to have Blockbuster and Hollywood Video in the same area, as well as a Family Video not too far. I remember we would always go to GameCrazy.
9. Didn't MTV, but I loved Vh1's I Love Series and MTV Hits. We mostly used Music Choice for music.
8. Didn't really know about them
7. Personalized usernames were weird, but creative
6. My brother was always buying minutes (remember people had to do that?
5. We didn't use those sites, but we used iTunes to burn and buy music. Good times.
4. My aunt would always play Solitare; I remember playing kids' games online and on CD roms both at home and school.
3. Don't forget Cartoon Network!
2. My brother was always on his MySpace. I vowed never to use social media, not even at the time.
1. I remember messing with my Uncle's iPod. I think I got one of my own eventually
My honorable mention: Video Games rocked! Gamecube and PS2 had the most iconic games.

I was born in 2001 so I'll definitely tell y'all what I was doing during the 2000s.
1. I was watching Rick Nash #61 of the Columbus Blue Jackets score lots of goals.
2. Watched New York Yankees legends Derek Jeter #2 hit home runs with Andy Petite #46 as the starting pitcher with Mariano Rivera to relive him.
3. Watched all of those old cheesy but classic Disney and Nickelodeon TV shows every Saturday morning
4. Bought tons of movies at Blockbuster
5. Played all of those adobe flash online video games
6. Built a lot of model train tables
7. Hung a lot with my friends
8. Bought lots of Thomas the train toys
9. Watched Carson Palmer #9 and Chad Ochocinco Johnson #85 compete for the Cincinnati Bengals
10. Watched the Cleveland Browns go from Qauterback after Qauterback and Coach after Coach

I was born in 1992. I always see how it was, apparently, a simpler time when it was before. So I had a good amount of memories made in the 2000s decade. It's things we had or did then that won't be done anymore. There were a good amount of TV shows. I got fascinated by the movies. A mix of the online and offline worlds. I did watch movies on the VHS in my childhood. I am a fan of history and videos like this fascinate me.

I wasn't a 2000s kid. I was already in college in 2004. What I love about the early to mid 2000s was that I think it was the perfect blend of online and offline culture. The internet was slowly integrating into our lives but we were not very dependent on it yet. Maybe because we don't have smartphones yet.

some of my best memories from the 2000's were renting things from block busters, playing with my toys, eating my favorite snacks from back in the day like yogos, playing outside with my friends all day and then coming inside to play some Gamecube until bed: )

Why would you buy something on DVD when you can stream something on Netflix or some other service?
Uh because the movies wont be there for long/be there forever. Eventually that movie will say leaves prime in 8 days (obviously)

Interesting fact:
The last blockbuster i went to was the first time in years I visited and didnt know it was closing.
I bought a copy of Scott Pilgrim.
Not many people are as lucky as
I was.

I remember my wife surprising me with the Razor for my bday. She showed up at my work with it. That was probably the last time I was up with the current trends for cell phones.

I never had a problem creating my AIM. I created my nickname, Lue Danger back in 2000. Every single platform I've needed to create a nickname I've lucked out with Lue Danger

I definitely was guilty of doing most of these things as a 2000s kid. However I had an iPod classic, which in my opinion was better for the music lover in me.

Raise your hand if your parents didn't allow you to have heelys because they were afraid you'd split your head open.
