We had a Samoyed for the first few years of my life. Sadly, because I was so little (she died when I was around 6, I barely remember her except from photos and home videos, but my Mom says she was the sweetest thing ever and would let me do pretty much whatever I wanted to her.
We have a Belgian Sheepdog now, and it's great, because he's at the same time the best guard dog (doesn't bite, but will bark and growl like crazy at anyone who comes to the house, except family members) and the biggest ball of fluff ever. Like, he knows when I'm sad and lets me cuddle him all I want. He loves cuddles.

English Bulldogs should not exist. It should be considered animal cruelty to breed them because of all the health issues those poor dogs have. A friend had a dog from the lineage of UGA, of University of GA fame. He had to be kept inside in their bathroom because of allergies, breathing issues and skin condition. He didn't live very long, even for that breed.

I didn't spend anything on my dog. I got him from his foster parent who found him on the streets. He was dirty, so skinny and had no fur, the foster parent thought he's a poodle. Turned out he's a Bichon Frise, which is quite expensive in my country. But personally, I would not want to buy a dog. I'd adopt again when I'm ready for more dogs.

we've got Jack Russel Terriers, and they are so naughty yet so lovable. It's just a little ball of energy and they are excellent guard dogs and gentle with children, though small children need to be watched since they tend to nip (cuz toddlers tend to grab things they shouldn't. you won't get a dog with more personality than a Jack Russel.

We have a saluki whippet cross, she is very prey driven so cannot be let off her lead. She is very fast. All the sight hounds are very good family dogs due to their very gentle nature so good with kids. On the plus side they dont need walking as much as people think they do. They would rather be sleeping snuggled up on a couch lol

We got an older Samoyed after her owner died. She was an absolute pleasure but the barking! The old guy encouraged her to bark and we never got her out of it properly. Back hips went eventually and the insulin for her diabetes was a nightmare. Her coat was so thick you couldnt tell if you got the small needle through it!

I am so not willing to pay that HUGE price. I got my Chihuahua for 75 bucks. she is a rescue. full blooded Chihuahua none the less. and my Chihuahua b4 her was 250 bucks. it's important to do your shopping around first. I saw many at a thousand dollar price tag and that did not include shipping fees.

Burmese Mountain dogs get pricey. As do Standard Poodles. I've seen breeders advertise GSD pups at $1500+. You need to expand list as people are greedy these days and Un-reputatble Breeders will screw people just for money

I have a mutt, a true mutt. A Brussels Griffon Mix (we think) my daughter gave him to me as an Emotional Support Dog and he is my little buddy! My bestest buddy! Grooming a pain in the butt. .. Fur covers his eyes

Fyi, the flat faced dogs are walking vet bills. They have so many health problems, they are not worth it. Also, they can not wear a collar. Their flat face won't let them breathe with one. They can only wear a harness.

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi was pretty expensive, and that was before the corgi craze really took off. She barks a lot but she's like my child! I love her so much!

Oh, God, I actually owned one of these breeds. And, yes, she was extremely expensive! She was a sweetheart and I loved her, but I'm 100% adopt, don't shop now.

I had no idea a Tibet mastiff was worth so much money. My dog is a Tibet that I got from a local breeder and hes a very big sweet boy.

I feel like the prices wouldn't be such a problem if dogs could live longer 10 years on a average
Imagine a dog living to 50

Sadly all three of my dogs have passed away a few years apart cody and henry where pomeranians and Casper was an American eskimo

These list just encourage breeders. A lot of the dogs you show aren't even purebreds. Those aren't real Tibetan Mastiffs.

Although I'm a dog lover I would like to own a less expensive dog breed just wondering is there a list? Let know please
