Not a serious issue being tackled, but the episode camping hit me pretty hard because it's about bluey making a new friend, they plant a tree, that friend eventually has to leave, then the episode flashes forward about 11 years or so, and bluey sits down next to the tree her and that friend planted and he reunite with her. I had a similarl experience with a person I met in kindergarten who just so happened to have the same engineering class as me freshman year of highschool. We stayed friends after that class but fell out of touch after highschool because he went to college and I went to trade school.

As a teenager who was raised to be cautious of everything outside of me, and judgmental of everything about myself, (my parents were learning, I cant blame them. I was the first born) watching a kids show felt like a waste of time.
But when I decided to watch Bluey, I was able to see an example of a functional, and beautiful, yet normal family.
The very act of just sitting down and living through the toddler characters and the adults has helped correct my outlook on the world and yes, it is healing my inner child.
Thank you Bluey.

My parents are gentle-parenting parents which is quite unusual from where I live. it's a different culture.
Back then when I was born it was the time parents still spank their kid in public or shamed their kid in front of everyone and nobody thinks it's wrong.
But my parents not having that and just decided that those aren't the way to raise their kid. I'm happy they went for that choice.
Praise every gentle-parenting parents out there. Thank you for your patience and extra effort, we'll make you pround.

One thing, this is an amazing list recognising a wonderful show, Early Baby is not about Indy's little sister but her niece, her older sister had an early baby. Also, I love their comparison of being a hero and being a mum when your baby has to be in thr hospital - Be the bravest you have ever been.
If I was to suggest another one, it would be Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound and dealing with sickness in our children.

One thing about Jack that especially hits close to home is even his younger sibling is apparently more focused than he is, those of us that are neurodivergent in some form can be surpassed by our younger siblings even while we are still kids. I have autism and even though I performed well academically in school, like many I had and still have problems socializing meanwhile my little brother doesn't have such problems.

0: 52 You don't vote for someone based on what they look like, you vote for who will be the best boss.
Tell that to us Americans. There's a segment of the population that votes for who's the WORST boss, all because they seem to want a fascist dystopia where science is rejected in favor of religion, minorities are persecuted, and foreign policy is dominated by neo-imperialism.

I just love at how the show manages to explain all this sensitive topics so greatfully and carefully For example in the episode where the bird sadly dies it shows you all the five stages of grief in Bluey and how she tries to recreate the moment with a happy ending to make herself happy and thinking the bird is ok passing throught the last stage of grief acceptance at the end

i think u forgot one but idk if this counts but dance mode so bingo is upset because ppl keep on taking things without her permission and the times when your inside really means no but your outside says yes because you are too scared of being too cruel to the person because you care too much for ppl that you know or don't know.

Its not tackling an issue, but the episode that always gets me to tear up is 'Rug Island. ' At the end of the episode when bandit is given the gift, he scoots across the yard and decides to open it and its a simple marker. His wife kinda scoffs and asks what did she give you?
Everything.

I had no idea this show was providing kids with exposure to a wide variety of music. Using Holst is genius. Kids are going to recognise that music when they grow older, the way I did with Johann Strauss when I watched Tom & Jerry. Turns out, I really like classical music.

So for Army, we had suspicion that our kiddo had ADHD. We started watching Bluey and going through it again, she tells me that Army is her favorite episode. I ask her why and she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Around the same time she was officially diagnosed.

As the mother of a Deaf child, the episode Turtleboy really touched me. Just seeing that kind of representation gave me such hope. And the look on my daughters face when she recognized the character was Deaf just like her? Nothing will ever be worth more than that.

I love the episode where chilli is over stimulated, and tells bandit that she needs a few minutes. Extremely relatable as a mom. Of course, very realistically, bluey spends most of the episode trying to crash moms alone time. Just like a real kid

I love this show as an adult because these are lessons I wish I'd learned as a child. Especially a child with undiagnosed ADHD and autism. The episode with Jack and his struggle with ADHD is one of my favorites.

My son was a preemie and we happened to watch #2 today. Hes way too young to understand what goes on in the show, but I love that theres an episode of a kids show I can show him to explain how he was when he was born.

I honestly had no idea that kids playing pretend is beneficial to their psycho-social development, and that it helps them process situations they don't understand and empathize with other people.

I really really want a bluey episode where Bluey and Bino go to visit Brandy, but it implies that she adopted and finally got the family she always wanted
