1. The Whole Daydream Tour 1996 (The peak of her vocals)
2. If It's Over - SNL 1992 (Better than the Grammy's performance, argue with a wall)
3. Emotions - Arsenio Hall & MTV VMA 1991, Music Box Tour (Her whistle here is unmatchable)
4. Madison Square Garden 1995 (2nd best to Daydream Tour)
5. One Sweet Day - Grammy's 1996 (her vocals here were unstoppable)
6. Somewhere Over the Rainbow/ Only If You Knew - VH1 Divas 1997 (Really shows her operatic vocal agility, no singer can match her vocal agility + musicality)
7. Vision of Love - GMA 1990, Daydream Tour, Charmbracelet Tour(s, TAOM (For extreme whistle skills, BET 2005
8. You & I - BET 2002 Tribute (Her lower vocal range is SO good)
9. Vanishing - SNL Rehearsal 1990 (Even better than the actual live performance, her transition from chest to whistle)
10. Emotions & WBT - NYE 2016! (Just kidding! America the Beautiful - NBA Finals 1990, this performance marked the birth of a legendary singer)
List on the video could have been better, I was actually very disappointed on #1 since it was heavily lipped especially on belting part, there were many live performances during 2005 that were better than that anyways soo.

Evil people love to belittle you because they know that your talent, beauty and success is undeniable, you know that feeling of not liking to see someone else win in life? That's what they feel, y'all They need to give value while she is alive, Witney is already gone, we only have two divas left, Mariah and Celine, give value to these legends, especially Mariah, who did humanly impossible things for pleasure From our ears and the price she paid was the compromise of her voice, stop being ungrateful and be grateful for living in the same era as the most excellent voice in all aspects of all time.

Like I think she and Whitney Houston are the best vocalists of all time, I would put the duet number 3 on number 1. Both also had the same problems losing later the voice, both toured in Europe and was buhed out by the audience, when she came later back for another tour she was not able to fill the halls, just one third was sold on tickets. Whitney also was buhed out in Europe, people left and asked for their money back, what broke her down and she canceled all future concerts of her tour.
Fame can become a devil!

All hail and bow to Mariah Carey, The Queen of Divas, Protector of the vocal skills from the realm, Archiduchess of Vocal range/registers, Empress of agility, The unmatched, The Mellisma mother, The Goddess of Songwriting and producing, The one often imitated, but never duplicated, The embodiment of pure success. My simpleton ears are not worthy of your talent but a simple sung phrase will be enough to heal me for all eternity.

One of the best vocalists to walk this earth, ever. People better put some respect on her name. And shes still serenading us. Everyone is quick to point out her slip ups, but dont over analyze any other female performer in the same way. She can and would out sing many of todays hitmakers; lest we forget. Keep in mind her more relaxed performances, usually her more intimate shows, showcase her staying power, even in her 50s!

I watched her in Las Vegas back in 2019. Yes, she doesnt sound the same as before but thats what happens as you get older. She was still amazing to watch. My mom and I had an amazing time especially since she is my moms favorite female artist. I grew up listening to her and it was a great experience seeing her live.

Joy To The World 1994 is her best performance period, it's so perfect I even wonder if it's fully live. There's If It's Over at the Grammy's. Underneath The Stars at Tokyo is magical. I guess whoever made this list wanted to include her popular songs like Hero and ken lee rather than best performances.

You might need a Part 2. If it's over (92 Grammy awards) is considered by many one of her greatest performances while her Vision of Love performance at the 1991 Grammys was included in the double album: Greatest Grammy Performances of all time by the Grammys themselves! Still love the list!

Good ones, but I would add 'WBT' for BET 2005, 'Butterfly' SNL, which was fully live, 'VANISHIIIING' SNL, 'Make it happen' for GMA, Her iconic performance with Patti LaBelle of 'Got to be real'. Well, so many others.

#1 shouldnt be here. Its a mixed of live vocals and track, and you can hear the transition at around 10: 11. Her Fly Like A Bird was highly lipped. You can do better than this, Mojo.

Where the hell is If It's Over at the 1992 Grammy's? Vision of Love on Arsenio Hall show in 1991? Make It Happen live at MSG 1995? Hell, anything from her Music Box tour in 1993.

just one comment on making the video, could you choose the part that is the most dramatic one, such as In time you find the way-yyyy in Hero or the non-stop whistle of Emotions

Definitely this list wasn't made by a Mariah fan or someone who knows her career. There are WAY better moments for sone of these songs and/or other songs

Mariahs got a lot of her influence from Minnie Riperton, Aretha, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston. Especially when she was whispering her song make it happen.

This womans music was the soundtrack for me in the 90s. I only loved her. She truly helped me with coming out and accepting myself. Always the queen.

Back to where she had a voice. Now she is just a total swollen shady mess who's only good at projecting her insecurities on to anyone better than her

I wish you could only shut the hell up and let us appreciate Mariah's performances, instead of giving so much information that we already know

I would've went with the 99 Oscars performance of When You Believe. Also Mariah's If It's Over from the 92 Grammys should've been included.

Mariah could really sing live when she was younger. I still love Mariah but early Mariah was something really, really special.

Would have been interesting to have the time to hear a bit more of the songs, rather than hearing someone talking.
