Clean out your ears people! What part of ROM COM did you not understand? You want to know why they're not on the list? Because they probably didn't meet and fall in love on the set of a romantic comedy movie! If the couple met on a romance movie, it doesn't count. If the couple met on a drama movie, it doesn't count. If the movie is a comedy, it doesn't count. If they fell in love on an action movie, it doesn't count. If they fell in love on a scifi movie, it doesn't count. If they didn't fall in love on set, but dated afterwards it doesn't count. And just because you feel the movie should be considered a romantic comedy but isn't labelled as a romantic comedy, it doesn't count.

Moral of the story, don't date your costars. You end up falling in love with each other's characters. Your brain spills dopamine, adrenaline etc because it doesn't know the difference between acting and reality. I was given such advice by my drama teacher in high school and it has given me tremendous clarity in my career and the freedom to totally throw myself into roles without the mess.

I am guessing Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward aren't on the list cause Long Hot Summer is more of a Romantic/Drama than Romantic/Comedy. If this wasn't about just RomComs then they would have to be number 1 since they fell in love making that movie and stayed together until Paul's passing.
