Those that participated in the production, judging etc related to this show should apologize or potentially be prosecuted for perpetuating the toxic environment of the modeling world. Doesn't matter if that is how it is in the modeling world, why would someone/anyone produce/create a show that feeds into and perpetuates such toxic, predatory environment. Make these girsl feel like if they don't do something they won't have work, that's disgusting.

The clip with Janis Dickinson really bugged me for I thought that Janis was much better as a person than that, but I guess she is not. And as a whole, this countdown video just reminded me why I am not a fan of Tyra Banks and not a fan of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. For it seems like the drag queens who have competed on RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE U. S. edition have received much better treatment from the judges and production staff than the women who competed on AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL ever did. And, Naiomi Campbell is and always has been a much better supermodel than Tyra Banks ever was.

This is probably one of the most dangerous and toxic shows a young woman can watch. My daughter got addicted to the show (she'd even fake being sick so she could stay home all day and binge, and always asked for seasons on CD as holiday gifts, started hating herself because she suddenly decided she was deformed at birth because she didn't look like one of the models. This, even with counseling and other intervention, blossomed into full blown suicidality. Today, she is 28, and still not living a full life.

The death-themed shoots occurring after a girl received the death news were no accidents. It's disgusting that the show utilized those girls' tragic experiences for ratings. But then again, I'm not surprised. This show is notorious for exploiting the girls.

I used to watch this show religiously. Now that I'm grown I see how toxic and horrible it really was I will never forget how they forced Kayla to kiss guys when she said she was SA as a child and was afraid of men.

I might be in the minority, but I don't think Lisa was as bad as everyone tried to make her out to be, especially when compared to contestants who actively tried to sabotage their competitors.

it bugs me how some of these girls were so terrified of insects or heights that they'd be screaming and crying, and they were basically forced to overcome these phobias in 2 minutes
