Even for teen movies, these moments were over-the-top. For this list, well be looking at the craziest and most exaggerated scenes from our favorite films aimed at younger audiences. Our countdown includes She's the Man, Grease, Easy A, and more! Which teen movie scene do YOU think took things way too far?

I get that the hormone scene in John Tucker Must Die is very mean spirited but it is movie logic and I cant help but constantly laugh at that part all of the time.
After all comedies do that kind of humor all of the time and they never take themselves seriously.
Yet I feel like people are way too harsh on that Bet On It scene.
I always found it awesome to see Troy doing his awesome dance moves on the golf course.
The golf course is the place to really let out his feelings especially since he is alone.
Hes not a little kid acting out his feelings with little kid dance moves thats way too mean spirited I totally disagree completely.
I feel like the fight scene in Shes the Man did have a point in the story for it helped Olivia get to be closer with the real Sebastian if that makes sense. Lol
Also can that Krumping scene in Bring It On: All or Nothing be left alone?
Its weird yes but its awfully cool to me.
No offense, but Im honestly so sick and tired of that moment always being mentioned in that movie on these videos.
Can something else be mentioned about that movie for freaking once?
Also about Mean Girls.
In real life depending on how helpful people are I can imagine a full room singing out loud a song to help people finish up their own song.
This world can be a wonderful place to be after all.

#9 Grease isn't my favorite over the Top teen moment but sure does reach my #1 over the Top stereotypical 'cheesy' teen moment. With Sandy finally getting her only by changing her outer looks that fit stereotypical social trends just so he would accept her. 'There's nothing to worry about STUD. ' Ew. That's not her speaking. That's the society.

I think we can all agree that number 5 on this list is the only one that we would still watch, even though taking it out of the movie would have made the plot go faster (seriously, Bet On It is corny, but it adds to the charm of High School Musical 2 anyway, so Id personally keep it in just for the fact that I enjoy that)

I've never understood the obsession with 10 Things I Hate About You. I saw this movie in the theater when I was a teen and it was just okay. No one cared nearly as much about the movie back then as they seem to care about it now. Same with the movie Hocus Pocus. Literally no one cared about that movie back then.

I'm sure someone is already said in the comments that the dark theory of Grease is that Sandy's actually dead and the entire movie is a fantasy, hence why the car would fly at the end even it was the 50's. Needless to say when I heard this it totally destroyed my love for the movie in some ways.

I was always confused by the car randomly flying off at the end of Grease. However, there's a theory flowing around that Sandy drowned at the beach in the beginning, and the rest of the movie was simply her dying dream. Make of that what you will.

insane all over sure fire popcorn scenes for sure minus the puking scene but wow talk about re watch these movies for sure on any night over the top more like crazy scenes in teen movies but any fight scene oh yeah def need popcorn for sure

I thought Zac Efron bet on it should have been one. Being trapped as a teenaged vampire and the tragedy of thinking you lost the love of your life with heightened vampire emotions was a little more believable than the Zac Efron scene to me.

Yes, thanks for mentioning Sierra's dodgy kiss. Not only does she completely violate Jamey's consent, but he must be totally oblivious not to sense Sierra and Veronica moving about in front of him, even with his eyes closed.

Wait? Not Demi Lovato and some of her camp friends doing some march in Camp Rock?
And if you were going to add one of the Twilight movies, where is that ridiculous laugh in BD2?

reply

John tucker is so good that I can look past the scene and just laugh the entire time if anything I think giving him the fake std was worse

You know, a mean-spirited movie is the result of lazy writing
That's why A Cinderella Story tries so hard to be mean-spirited
