There's something creepy about bad guys getting their groove on. For this list, well be looking at the meanest baddies with the most rhythm. Our countdown includes scenes from The Silence of the Lambs, Morbius, American Psycho and more! If you could insert a dance scene into any movie ever, which would it be and who would perform it?

I like all my favorite villain dance scene and if I could insert a dance scene into any movie ever, which would it be and who would perform it on the DVDs or on Hulu or on Netflix or in flats like Knox's Entrance Charlie's Angels and M3GAN'S Dance M3GAN and Robotnik's Dance Sonic the Hedgehog and Just The Two Of Us Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me and Milo's Dance Morbius and Stuck In The Middle With You Reservoir Dogs and The Stairs Dance Joker and The Raincoat Scene American Psycho and Pennywise's Dance It and Tearing Up The Dance Floor Ex Machina

Let'me take you back to Steve Martin's bizarre version of Pennies from Heaven, in which characters keep breaking into 1930s song-and-dance routines showing an alternate world in which everything is like a Hollywood musical instead of the dreary depressing reality that they live in. And the show piece is Christopher Walken as an obvious abuser performing to Cole Porter's Let's Misbehave, years before the Fatboy Slim music video that everyone knows about.

Please STOP saying iconic. It is a word that, like amazing and literally, is being misused and overly used.
Iconic describes something that has stood the test of time. Very few things deserve to be described as iconic. King Kong, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, are iconic. Megan's dance and Sonic the Hedgehog are not iconic; maybe in 30 years.
Instead, use words like classic, well known, famous, infamous, fashionable, or recognizable.

Everytime someone says Huh M3gan's dance is a tiktok trend and out of place, I say then you must HATE Reservoir Dogs, because being mocked with a little dancing before being killed says how trivial your life is to the killer. It's just another kind of language in storytelling, sometimes abused, but generally serves to show us something. I'd place Joker on the 1st place for the stair dance and the subway bathroom too.

Where's Travolta from Face/Off, or better yet from Pulp Fiction? How about Nicholson doing the dance routine in the art gallery in Batman? Weren't there some sweet moves by Tom Cruise in Collateral? There were literally hundreds of films with sweet dance moves by the big bad, or at least by one of the baddies Tim Curry and company in Rocky Horror comes to mind.

Megan's dance was extremely creepy to me as a computer coder. Megan wasn't coded to perform the dance. Megan's AI generated this response. This begs the question why the AI thought to do this. Did it reason it would terrify her victim? Or did she just feel like dancing? Either is equally terrifying.

I think a couple honorable mentions should be for Buffalo Bill's (actor Ted Levine) dance in Silence of the Lambs and Francis, the dancing hit man (actor Sam Rockwell) in the movie Mr. Right
reply

No way should Jim Carrey be higher on the list than M3gan, and Dr. Evil and Mini Me's jailhouse dance to Hard Knock Life is far superior and way funnier than Just the Two of Us.
reply

Movie Megan would have been better if it was rated R and had a little bit more violet and brutal moments. It didn't help that the trailers pretty much give away the whole movie
reply

No Clockwork Orange dance with Alex? He invented the villain dance idea and everything else is a copy. It was horrible and awful, but it was the original villain dance
reply

If you do a sequel to this list, you need to include the Axe Gang dance from Kung Fu Hustle! I watched this in the theatre and the crowd laughed the whole way through it!
reply

Think you need a sequel to this, there's quite a few more dance scenes by villians, including Jack Nickolson's version of Joker, dancing at the end of the 1989 film.
reply

You forgot one of the best dance scenes ever - Tangerine Dream in the 1985 moive Legend done by Mia Sara - if you want to see an amazing dance scene check that one out.
reply

Sam Rockwell had some serious moves in Iron Man 2, when he's at the Stark Expo. Every time I hear Pick up the Pieces by the Average White band, I see his moves.
reply

For me, it was definetely Ex Machina because it fit the plot so well. That's when you realized Keiko was a robot, and sent the story in a very creepy direction.
reply

Maybe not a 'villian' but certainly not a good guy, Tom Cruise in the end of Tropic Thunder. That has changed what I see in my head whenever that song plays.
reply

Reservoir Dogs will always top the list for me and I can't hear the song without acting out that scene. The Joker is a close second though. Great list!
reply

Most of these I like. M3GAN will be a cult classic. but how did It make it on the list but Travola and Uma Thurman's dance in Pulp Fiction didn't?
reply

The look on Calebs face as Nathan is dancing is like What in the hell is wrong with this guy? Completely sells how out of his mind Nathan is.
reply

Michael Madsen reservoir dogs should've been 1 or 2 cause that scene has been parodied so many, many more times than everything on this list
reply

I was missing Tom Cruise dance scene as the villain in Tropic Thunder - that was really iconic.
But maybe you have a second part

reply

What about the End Dancing Scene of Les Grossman in Tropical Thunder?
My fav in this top ten is still Mini me with Dr. Evil

reply

That was the worst Joker ever and was as bad as a Batman with glitter in his utility belt.
Not my Joker.
Not my Batman.

reply

Does Tom Cruise's character in Tropic Thunder count as a villain? Because if so, his dance scene should be number 1, lol.
reply

The joker stairs is good if ur going down it. But if ur going up is a different story. Got to love the bx for those stairs
reply

Chris Hemsworth's dancing in Bad Times at the El Royale? And Ghostbusters! Could watch that man dance to anything; )
reply

You should've added the axe wielding gang leader from Kung-fu Hustle,
that one cracks me up all the time.

reply

I would have preferred to see Eric Knox dance to Marvin Gays Got to give it up Sam Rockwell is a national treasure.
reply

Q Lazarus Goodbye horses
Silence of the Lambs
Buffalo bill hands down should be number 1 on this list

reply

For some reason, I expect Roy Batty from Blade Runner would be a beautiful dancer. Hed bring us to tears.
