It's not a movie, but Game of Thrones did revenge like no one else. In fact, you could do a Top 10 list of the best revenge moments just from GoT. (If you haven't already) Arya and Walder Frey. Oberyn and the Mountain. (Even though that didn't end well for Oberyn, the Mountain didn't get away unscathed) Ellaria Sand and Myrcella. (Not that Myrcella deserved it, but it was the ultimate revenge against Cersei) Sansa and Ramsay. Tyrion and his father. The Starks and Little Finger.
And, of course, Lady Olenna. Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me.
You'd probably have to do a Top 20!

Midsommar's act of vengeance is as black and white as this video made it out to be. The cult manipulated events and used Dani and Christian's dying relationship as a means to an end. I'm not saying Christian wasn't a POS for how he treated Dani but the cult knew how emtionally vulnerable Dani was and used her fractured psyche to get what they needed: a new member of their family and the perfect sperm donor/sacrifice

It may be predictable and formulaic but the last 10 or 15 minutes of Enough is great revenge. Not only does Slim get to beat the ever-loving h-l out of her cheating, abusive, criminal husband, but she is able to maneuver the battle ground before the fight and to plant evidence in case she doesnt survive or she does but once again they side with the husband. Plus, ya know the ending.

The prom scene in _Carrie_ is my absolute favorite on this list. As soon as you hear those chords from _Psycho_ and see the unhinged look in her eyes, your blood runs cold in the best way. It's one of the most infamous and satisfying moments in all of Stephen King's library. A home run on the King of Horror's very first try.

Seeing how I first watched criminal minds watch Mandy play such a serious role as Gideon and the watching the princess bride seeing that he plays inigo made me hysterical he is such a good actor. IT EVEN SHOCKED ME MORE WHEN I SAW HIM IN ELMO IN GROUCHLAND playing A HIGH SPIRITED MUSICAL VILLAN is there anything this man can't do.

There were a lot of crimes on this list. I think my favorite is that you had Shawshank at #10. Andy doesnt just get revenge on the Warden, he gets revenge on Hadley who was an a$$hole to EVERYBODY in the prison. So he literally gets revenge on behalf of EVERY prisoner.

Come on! We all know that John Wick deserves the number one spot for killing the man responsible for the murder of his dog. Oh, and by the way. In Do Revenge, Eleanor tricked Drea into framing Erica as part of her own elaborate scheme. That's pretty shocking.

Inigo's line was also very cathartic for Mandy Patinkin, since he had lost his father not long before the shooting of the film, and that line was not only Inigo Montoya talking to Rugen, but also Patinkin talking to the cancer that had killed his dad.
